The New York Philharmonic will return to Bravo! Vail in Colorado, celebrating its 30th season, for the Orchestra's 15th annual summer residency, July 21-28, 2017. The residency will include six orchestral concerts that honor the Philharmonic's legacy on the occasion of its 175th anniversary season and the conclusion of Alan Gilbert's tenure as Music Director.

The international touring company of the beloved classic musical "West Side Story," which features music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by Arthur Laurents, will come to The Theatre at Solaire (Aseana Avenue, Solaire Resort and Casino) next month, August 10-27.

Antaeus Theatre Company has announced an electric slate of plays for its 2017-18 season at the Kiki & David Gindler Performing Arts Center in Glendale. ???????The Marvelous Wonderettes is thrilled to welcome its original "Wonderstudy", Laura Woyasz, back to the production.  Woyasz will be taking on the role of Missy Miller full time replacing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory bound Kristy Cates.  Woyasz was last seen in the tour of Cheers Live on Stage as well as the Broadway company of Wicked as Glinda.

Urban Stages has announced the line-up for this year's Award Winning series, WINTER RHYTHMS 2016, which will begin Thursday, December 1 and will feature some of New York's best musical performances through Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street, just East of 8th Avenue).

At the Wednesday, Sept 22nd matinee of The Marvelous Wonderettes, producers Tom and Michael D'Angora will be celebrating the show's 100th performance by welcoming Kristy Cates to the company!  Cates is joining the production in the role of Missy Miller who belts out 'You Don't Own Me', 'Wedding Bell Blues', and 'Mr. Lee' among other classic 50's and 60's pop hits.

As the characters Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, Mark Edward Lang and Alison J. Murphy seem to be a perfect fit in the play about the famous Broadway actors. Lang and Murphy are married in real life and have been performing together for many years. Recently visiting San Antonio, Texas, BWW had a chance to sit down and chat with them about their roles and about the show LUNT AND FONTANNE 'THE CELESTIALS OF BROADWAY.'

Producer/Directors Tom and Michael D'Angora are thrilled to welcome American Idol and Hairspray alum Diana Degarmo to The Marvelous Wonderettes! From May 25th through July 31st. Diana joins the production in the role of Suzy Simpson, the lovable bubble-blowing Wonderette who sings such hits as "Stupid Cupid", "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me", "Rescue Me", and "Respect".
