Lesley Joseph will join the cast for the UK and Ireland tour of the smash-hit musical, a?oeSISTER ACTa??. The show will open on 21 April 2020 at Leicester Curve and will visit Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield and Manchester. The UK and Ireland tour will re-open on 15 September at Birmingham Hippodrome and will finish its run in Milton Keynes on 5 December 2020. Full tour listings and casting details below.

Grammy-nominated rock band Avenged Sevenfold have released their platinum-certified CD, Diamonds in the Rough, digitally for the very first time today via Warner Records. Originally released in 2008 as a compilation CD of B-sides recorded during the making of the band's self-titled debut, the new digital version is expanded by five new tracks, including recently-released track “Set Me Free,”as well as other hard-to-find tracks such as “St, James,” “4AM,” “Lost It All,” and the band's cover of Black Sabbath's “Paranoid.” Diamonds In The Rough is also available on limited edition clear vinyl starting today. On March 6, the audio from Live In The LBC, which was originally released as a live DVD from the band's 2008 show at Long Beach Arena, will be released digitally.

Tony nominee Mary Bridget Davies, best known for her onstage work channeling the late rock icon Janis Joplin, will release an album of compellingly reimagined songs by the legendary songwriter and Grammy® winning producer Jerry Ragovoy. Austin's …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead are returning after six years with their 10th full-length studio album X: The Godless Void and Other Stories – due out on January 17th, 2020 on Dine Alone Records in North America. The new LP comes as the band enters their 25th year together and …Trail of Dead will kick off the album release with a show at LA's Masonic Lounge in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery followed by a couple of weeks of West Coast dates. Along with the news today the band is revealing the first single via the official video for “Don't Look Down” directed, edited and produced by Conrad Keely. PuSh International Performing Arts Festival (PuSh) presents the Western Canadian premiere of Montreal choreographer Dana Gingras' visually arresting new work, FRONTERA, for one-night only, January 30, 2020 at 8pm at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Since it went on sale Sister Act The Musical starring Whoopi Goldberg and Jennifer Saunders has broken all on sale records for a run at the Eventim Apollo having already sold over 95,000 tickets so far for the five week run. During the first day of on sale, demand was so high that several ticket agent websites crashed!

Craft Recordings is thrilled to announce the release of a vinyl box set celebrating one of music's greatest gospel and soul groups, The Staple Singers. Set for a December 6th release date, Come Go With Me: The Stax Collection presents all of the group's studio albums released on the iconic Memphis label, spanning 1968–1974, and features the Staples' biggest hits, including “I'll Take You There,” “Respect Yourself” and “If You're Ready (Come Go with Me).” The six studio albums were cut from the original analog masters by Jeff Powell at Take Out Vinyl. The final, seventh disc offers rarities, non-album singles and several live recordings from the legendary 1972 Wattstax music festival. The seven discs come in heavyweight 180-gram vinyl pressed at Memphis Record Pressing. Housed in a slipcase, the collection also includes a deluxe booklet with archival photos and new liner notes from American music specialist and curator Levon Williams (formerly of the Stax Museum and the National Museum of African American Music), and folklorist, ethnomusicologist and writer Dr. Langston Wilkins.
