Nathan Amzi will return to In The Heights for a limited two-week run, playing Piragua Guy from Monday 21 December 2015 to Sunday 3 January 2016. Nathan originated the role in the London production when it premiered at Southwark Playhouse in 2014. In The Heights recently extended its run at King's Cross Theatre for a second time, now booking for an additional 3 months until Sunday 10 April 2016.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces the three winning shows in the TRU Voices Musicals Series, which will have readings on Mondays January 18 and 25, and February 1, 2016 at 7pm at the Engelman Recital Hall in the Baruch Performing Arts Center, 55 Lexington Ave, NYC.

OkayBetterBest, a new musical written by Rhonda Kess and Michael Weems and directed by Hunter Foster, will be presented the Ars Nova Loft (511 West 54th Street) as a special industry reading on Thursday, December 3 at 3:00 PM and Friday, December 4 at 3:00 PM. The cast includes Jason Gotay (Bring It On: The Musical, Spider-Man Turn off the Dark), George Salazar (Godspell, Here Lies Love), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Elena Ricardo (Mamma Mia!), Christina Sajous (Holler If Ya Hear Me, American Idiot), Justin Matthew Sargent (Bonnie & Clyde, Rock of Ages) and Remy Zaken (Spring Awakening). You never know who you're going to see at RUTHLESS! Larry Thomas, who played the iconic role of the Soup Nazi on SEINFELD, attended the smash hit musical last week. Thomas happily posed for photos with the cast after the performance announcing (to their giddy delight), 'No soup for RUTHLESS!' Scroll down to check them out!

Paul Pecorino, currently starring in the Off-Broadway smash RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL is set to be a special celebrity presenter at the 17th Annual Glam Awards tonight (Wednesday) at 9 PM. Paul will of course be appearing as his imperious (and uber glam) RUTHLESS! character, Sylvia St. Croix. The Glam Awards, hosted by Bianca Del Rio, honor the brightest stars in NYC gay nightlife and over 400 guests are expected to attend. Entry fee is $10 and VIP tickets are available through www.GlamAwards.net.

Ron Howard took in a performance of the Off-Broadway hit Ruthless! The Musical this past Saturday, November 7th. After laughing heartily throughout the entire show, Howard was the first to leap to his feet at the curtain call's standing ovation. As a former top international child star himself, Howard was particularly interested in meeting the 11-year-old star of RUTHLESS!, Tori Murray. The two can be seen below posing and goofing with each other after Saturday's performance!

Off-Broadway's hit musical RUTHLESS! has added a special performance tomorrow, November 12th at 7 PM in observance of Veteran's Day. The show's creators, Marvin Laird and Joel Paley, are proud veterans themselves. (Veterans of negotiating the minefields of showbiz, that is.)

The two leading ladies and mother/daughter duo from RUTHLESS!, Kim Maresca and Tori Murray, are set to perform at Jim Caruso's 'Cast Party' tonight at 9:30 PM.

Longtime partners and the creators of the hit musical RUTHLESS!, Marvin Laird and Joel Paley, were married in a private ceremony this past Sunday, November 1st. It was truly a family affair with two of the producers, Maxine Paul and Evan Sacks, standing up for the resplendent grooms as maid of honor and best man respectively. (Reports remain spotty on precisely who stood up for whom.) The initial announcement of the nuptials occurred at the July 13th opening night of RUTHLESS! when Paley proposed to Laird while making a celebratory toast at the post-performance party. Sunday's wedding was held at the beautiful home of the show's third producer, Ken Schur, and his lovely and charming wife Janet. Attendees included Bernadette Peters, Lynn Cohen and select A-listers from the RUTHLESS! company. Scroll down for photos!

Signature Theatre has announced the cast of WEST SIDE STORY, directed by Signature Associate Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner (Signature's Sunday in the Park with George, Cabaret). The musical, a collaboration of music, dance and theater giants Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Jerome Robbins and Arthur Laurents, is considered by some to be one of the greatest musicals of all time. WEST SIDE STORY will run from December 8 - January 24 in Signature Theatre's intimate MAX Theatre.

Highway Run Productions' RENT, currently playing at Hayes Theatre Co, sold out before it had opened and desperate fans have been calling the box office daily and lurking around the foyer before each performance in the hopes that a ticket might materialise.
