David Gilmore, Artistic Director, has confirmd details of the upcoming season of main house productions at the St. James Theatre. The 312 seat main house is an exciting alternative to the West End, staging a varied programme of quality plays and musicals and featuring excellent sightlines from every seat. The intimate studio space incorporates the very best of both established and emerging talent in the worlds of cabaret, music, comedy and theatre. The informal bar and brasserie on the ground floor, and the elegant Carrara restaurant on the first floor cater for all pre and post-theatre tastes. Earlier this month, the St. James Theatre was one of only seven theatres shortlisted for the My Theatre Matters! Most Welcoming Theatre Award out of over 225 theatre venues across the country.

Manhattan Theatre Club and MCC Theater present the world premiere of The Snow Geese, a new play by Sharr White, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. The production will open tonight, October 24, 2013. Scroll down to learn more about the cast!

The cast for URINETOWN The Musical includes Katie Bernstein (Little Becky Two Shoes/Mrs Millennium), Cory English (Old Man Strong/Hot Blades Harry), Richard Fleeshman (Bobby Strong), Madeleine Harland (Soupy Sue/Cladwell's Secretary), Rosanna Hyland (Hope Cladwell), Julie Jupp (Old Woman/Josephine Strong), Mark Meadows (Senator Fipp), Joel Montague (Male Swing 1), Jo Napthine (Female Swing 2), Jenna Russell (Penelope Pennywise), Matthew Seadon-Young (Robbie The Stockfish/UGC Executive 1) and Jonathan Slinger (Officer Lockstock).

The Daily Mail reports that Richard Fleeshman, who just participated in a workshop production of the new BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM musical and last starred in the West End's GHOST, will soon be starring in a slightly more 'low-brow' role. He will play 'Bobby Strong' in the London debut of URINETOWN at the St. James Theatre, beginning February 22, 2014.

John Rando (Urinetown, A Christmas Story, Lincoln Centers's Carousel, All in the Timing) will direct Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead for The Acting Company," announced its producer, Margot Harley. Tom Stoppard's TONY-winning play will run off-Broadway in rotating repertory with Hamlet, directed by Ian Belknap, beginning in January 2014. Prior to New York, Hamlet will play a fall tour of western states beginning at Cal State-Northridge. A national tour of both plays, including an extended stay at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, begins in February. This is the 41st season and tour for The Acting Company, the sixth tour in association with the Guthrie.

Producers are thrilled to announce that 'Pitch Perfect' actress Shelley Regner has joined the cast of the Los Angeles revival of bare as Nadia for select performances. Regner will be filling in for Katie Stevens (Fox's 'American Idol') on dates when she will be concurrently filming the MTV Pilot 'Faking It.'

Hot Summer Nights | Theatre Raleigh's Urinetown is the latest resident of Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts's A. J. Fletcher Opera Theater. The 2001 musical comedy, written by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis, takes place during a decades-long drought which has caused water to be a precious commodity. The strain on resources leads to a world in which private toilets are no more, and the public must pay to use the restroom. Narrated by a policeman named Officer Lockstock, along with pigtailed Little Sally, Urinetown follows Bobby Strong, a public amenity employee who dares to ask, 'what if the law is wrong?' Seeing the plight of those around him as they struggle to come up with the funds to use the pay-per-pee toilets, Bobby starts a revolution by letting customers in for free and standing up to greedy businessman Caldwell B. Cladwell. During his journey, he meets the woman of his dreams, who happens to be Cladwell's daughter, Hope. Filled with playful musical theater references, political schemes, and plenty of heart, Urinetown is a success for Hot Summer Nights | Theatre Raleigh.

Stage Left Theatre will present the upcoming world premiere of Warped written by Barbara Lhota and directed by ensemble member Jason A. Fleece. This production is an area premiere and winner of the 2013 Outer Critics Circle Award for 'Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play'. Previews tonight, July 17 and the 18th. Opening Night is July 19 and the production runs through August 25.

Enrollment applications are being accepted now for Segerstrom Center's Six Days of Broadway summer musical theater camp, which returns to the Center's campus June 24 through July 7. Students will participate in week-long intensives that feature classes in musical performance, monologue interpretation, audition technique, scene work, dance and more. Tony Award nominee and Broadway/film star Erin Dilly returns to lead the program along with Broadway veterans Stephen Buntrock, Danny Gurwin, Hank Stratton and other guest instructors.

FLASHDANCE-THE MUSICAL, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation, will perform at the Majestic Theatre for eight performances tonight, June 18-23. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, March 1.
