Bare Bones Theatre Ensemble’s production of Spring Awakening is well-crafted, taking the audience on a heartrending journey which, through everything, still ends in hope.

The University of Michigan's Symphony Band is hitting the road for the first time in decades. Kicking off a week-long tour May 6, the band will travel around the state of Michigan leading interactive, side-by-side clinics at regional high schools in Belleville, Troy, Fenton, Grand Blanc, Flint, Midland, Interlochen, Traverse City, Muskegon and Allendale. Each visit will conclude with a performance that is free and open to the public.

The show directed by Jose Possi Neto and choreographed by Alonso Barros, premiered on March 8, at Teatro Alfa, in a production of Touche Entertainment and coproduction of Daniel Boaventura.

On March 13-22, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra will embark upon its first tour to the United States in more than 35 years.  The RSNO, together with Music Director Peter Oundjian and violinist Nicola Benedetti will perform throughout the state of Florida with stops in Fort Lauderdale (Broward Center), West Palm Beach (Kravis Center), Sarasota (Van Wezel), Vero Beach (Indian River Symphonic Association), Gainesville (University of Florida), Fort Myers (Barbara B. Mann), and Daytona Beach (Peabody Auditorium).

In this first installment of the CSO's Russian Winter Festival, Music Director Rossen Milanov will conduct this exciting collaboration featuring the musicians of the CSO and principal dancers of BalletMet in unparalleled performances of Stravinsky's fascinating Petrouchka and selections from Prokofiev's romantic Romeo and Juliet. BBC New Generation Artist Elena Urioste will also perform Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, providing a perfect complement to this not-to-be-missed evening of Russian music.
