Howard Hawks, the quintessential Hollywood director known for his mastery of many genres, will be the subject of a complete retrospective at Museum of the Moving Image from today, September 7 through November 10, 2013. The Museum will present 39 features. All of the films will be shown in 35mm-many in stunning restorations-except for Red Line 7000, which will be shown in 16mm.

This semi-autobiographical play is seasoned with plenty of Neil Simon's wit and an honest understanding of human emotions. Chapter Two matches George, a widowed New York novelist, and Jennie, a recently divorced actress, who are pushed together by his brother Leo and her neurotic married friend Faye. What follows is a seesaw courtship that provides love and laughs in this very human and ultimately touching comedy. Chapter Two begins with a preview on Thursday, September 12 and runs through Sunday, October 13. Opening Night is Friday, September 13 at 8PM.
