CAKEWALK is an official selection of the 2017 Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival. With lyrics and a book by Beverly Trader Austin and mucic by Bryan Mercer, the new musical will have its world premiere on July 31 at Out Front Theatre.

Julia Adolphe's Dark Sand, Sifting Light will receive its World Premiere June 5, conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert; Andrew McManus's Strobe will receive its World Premiere June 6, conducted by Matthias Pintscher; and Max Grafe's Bismuth: Variations for Orchestra will receive its World Premiere June 7, conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert.

Trinity Rep's Education Department will once again provide students the opportunity to spend the summer exploring a world of creativity and theater under the instruction of Rhode Island's most knowledgeable theater professionals. Enrollment is now open for both the Young Actors Summer Institute (YASI), which offers classes for grades 5-12 and for YASI Jr., a week-long program for grades 1-4. The YASI class for grades 8-9 is at capacity, but interested students can be placed on a wait list. Additionally, spaces are still available for the Young Actors Studio and Lifelong Learning spring sessions, which include classes for grades 4-12, as well as selections for adult actors and theater enthusiasts.

On December 13, visitors to The Frick Collection will be able to enjoy a new gallery-the first major addition to the museum's display spaces in nearly thirty-five years.
