Stage West is pleased to announces the lineup for its 41st season! The new season will offer six plays and patrons purchasing season tickets before June 30 will be offered an extra pass. It's an exciting mix of shows: all six are regional premieres, and one is a Pulitzer winner.  Here it is:

Tara Theatre today announce their international summer season (June-August 2019), featuring a breadth of work from across the globe. The season includes theatre, poetry, concerts and comedy with performances in English, French, Urdu and Japanese.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) announced that today the cast of the world premiere of Jack Kerouac's The Haunted Life by Sean Daniels, adapted from the "lost" novel, and directed by Daniels and christopher oscar peña, in coordination with The Estate of Jack Kerouac, from March 20 to April 14, according to Artistic Director Daniels and Executive Director Bonnie J. Butkas.

Theater J's 2018 Annual Benefit is an elegant and lively evening of theater, socializing, and delectable food and drink at Arena Stage. The centerpiece of the event is a "sneak peek" reading of Ken Ludwig's brand new play Dear Jack, Dear Louise. Mr. Ludwig, a Tony and Olivier Award-winning playwright, directs the reading, which stars Tony Award nominees Santino Fontana and Laura Osnes. This celebration, which supports the nation's most distinctive and progressive Jewish theater, will take place on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 6:30 PM at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will pay homage to the glittering world of Hollywood musicals with Mad About Musicals!, a special month of programming celebrating timeless movie musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, Singin' in the Rain and Cabaret. TCM is once again partnering with Ball State University and Canvas to offer a free online multimedia course tied to this programming special about the history of the musical genre and its evolution with cultural and technological shifts. Enrollment is open until June 17 and fans can sign up for the course at musicals.tcm.com.

The University of Washington School of Drama, under the leadership of outgoing Executive Director Todd London, incoming Executive Director Lynn M. Thomas and incoming Associate Director Geoff Korf, is pleased to announce our 2018 -2019 season.

Seven time Emmy Award-winner Ed Asner and three time Emmy Award and Tony Award-nominee Kate Burton will star in a two-week East Coast tour of concert readings of Jeff Cohen's play The Soap Myth. The readings, which will be directed by Pam Berlin and will also feature Ned Eisenberg & Blair Baker, will serve as a tribute to International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The tour will begin on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Miami Beach Florida, and will conclude on Thursday, February 1 at Hofstra University on Long Island.

The Gish Prize Trust today announced that the widely influential, utterly inimitable Meredith Monk has been selected to receive the 24th annual Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize, in recognition of her ongoing achievements as a composer, singer and interdisciplinary artist. Established in 1994 through the will of legendary stage and screen actress Lillian Gish, known as the First Lady of Cinema, the Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize is one of the most prestigious honors given to artists in the United States and bears one of the largest cash awards, currently valued at approximately $250,000.

Ensemble Studio Theatre and Radio Drama Network announced today the lineup for the 36th MARATHON OF ONE-ACT PLAYS, the biennial festival series of brand new plays from emerging playwrights.

San Francisco Ballet, long recognized for pushing boundaries in dance, has announced its 2017-18 Season program and schedule. This summer, SF Ballet will return to Festival Napa Valley for one performance only on Friday, July 21, 2017, accompanied by members of the SF Ballet Orchestra. In addition, this October, the Company will once again participate in World Ballet Day LIVE, a day-long streaming event (details to be announced).

New York Theatre Ballet, the foremost chamber ballet company in the United States, will return to Tarboro, North Carolina on March 30, 2017 at 7:30pm to perform in the Edgecombe Community College Performing Arts Series, bringing a program of mixed repertoire. NYTB has performed in the series annually for the past four years.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, beloved as one of the world's most popular dance companies, will return to Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts for a two-week 15-performance engagement at the David H.
