Roundabout Theatre Company's celebrated revival of Kiss Me, Kate has Broadway sizzling with musical comedy magic. Winning the first Tony Award for best musical in 1949, Cole Porter's Kiss Me, Kate tells the story of a theatre company presenting a musical version of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. This big and boisterous revival stars Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara as Kate/Lilli and Tony Award nominee Will Chase as Petruchio/Fred.

The press opening is scheduled for Thursday, May 2 at 8:00 p.m.

West End performer, Strictly Come Dancing favourite and television actor Danny Mac has been confirmed to join the UK tour of Amelie The Musical, based on the much-loved, five-time Oscar-nominated film. Joining previously announced French-Canadian stage and screen star Audrey Brisson as Amelie Poulain, Danny Mac will play the sweet daydreamer Nino Quincampoix from 22 May. The role of Nino will be played by Chris Jared during performances at The Watermill Theatre.

Random Access Theatre opens its 2019 season with the World Premiere of Miranda from Stormville by Adam Bertocci. The production, a modern retelling of Shakespeare's The Tempest, runs March 14 - 24 at the IRT Theater in the West Village. Artistic Director and co-founder, Jennifer Sandella directs. Bertocci's previous productions include the highly acclaimed, Two Gentlemen of Lebowski (published by Simon & Schuster). Miranda from Stormville is part of IRT's 3B Development Series.

She is taken in by a loving family and cared for by brilliant and kind sisters, Frieda and Claudia. The character-driven play, both poetic and daringly funny, illuminates the destructive powers of racism and class dynamics while exploring the power of community through exquisite storytelling. The Bluest Eye is produced in collaboration with Norfolk State University Theatre Company.
