Tickets on sale today for two plays new to Los Angeles at the Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California. Native Gardens, a new comedy by Karen Zacarias and directed by Jason Alexander performing September 5 to 30 (press opening September 9), and the West End production of its reigning hit, Susan Hill's The Woman in Black, performing October 17 to November 11 (press opening October 18).

The Second Street Players are proud to announce the 2019 Season. 2019 will showcase some classic stories along with some new shows that have not been preformed in the area yet. There will be 5 Main Stage Shows and 3 Children's Theater shows. With this announcement the Second Street Players are also putting out a call to Directors. Anyone that is interested in directing one of the shows should submit a letter of intent by August 31, 2018.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will pay homage to the glittering world of Hollywood musicals with Mad About Musicals!, a special month of programming celebrating timeless movie musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, Singin' in the Rain and Cabaret. TCM is once again partnering with Ball State University and Canvas to offer a free online multimedia course tied to this programming special about the history of the musical genre and its evolution with cultural and technological shifts. Hook & Eye Theater is proud to present the world premiere of She-She-She, a vibrant new devised play with writing by Cynthia Babak that centers on six women whose lives intertwine across generations against the backdrop of one great mountain. Directed by Chad Lindsey, She-She-She is inspired by the real-life friendship between Eleanor Roosevelt and leading black activist Pauli Murray.

The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists announced the winners of its 55 th Annual ICG Publicists Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday, March 2, 2018. GET OUT (Universal Pictures) won the top honors for Best Publicity Campaign for Motion Pictures and STRANGER THINGS 2 (Netflix/Wonder View)won the Best Publicity Campaign in Television, both presented by KELLY MARIE TRAN (Star Wars: The Last Jedi). This year's luncheon, which traditionally occurs the week leading up to the Academy Awards, was chaired by HENRI BOLLINGER and co-chaired by TIM MENKE. More than 900 industry leaders attended including guild members, Hollywood public relations and marketing executives, producers, studio and network executives, celebrities and press.
