Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director), an award-winning company presenting Shakespeare alongside other classic and contemporary drama at Polonsky Shakespeare Center, Downtown Brooklyn, is pleased to announce its 2018-19 season-the 39th since its founding in 1979.

Four-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh will recreate her award-winning performance as Golda Meir in Golda's Balcony, when the acclaimed William Gibson play comes to the Segal Centre for Performing Arts from May 22 to June 10, 2018. There will be an ASL-interpreted performance on June 9.

It was just announced by Pulitzer Prize Administrator Dana Canedy that Martyna Majok's COST OF LIVING has officially won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Buffalo Theatre Ensemble (BTE), the professional Equity company in residence at the McAninch Arts Center, presents John Patrick Shanley's heartwarming romantic comedy "Outside Mullingar," directed by Steve Scott, May 3-June 3. Manatee Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce Manatee Players' production of 2.5 Minute Ride for 12 performances, April 5-22, in Bradenton Kiwanis Theater. The author, Lisa Kron, takes the audience on a ride, relaying the comedy and tragedy of her family and their lives as she clicks through family "slides" and tells the story attached to each.

MTV's legendary competition show 'The Challenge' returns with the premiere of an epic ten-week special event 'The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars.' Hosted by WWE Superstar and former challenge competitor, Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin, 'Champs vs. Stars' will feature ten celebrities and all-star athletes along with ten highly skilled, fan-favorite champions from past 'Challenge' seasons. For the first time ever, teams will be mixed with both celebrities and 'Champs' where they will face off in weekly eliminations, until one team will prove they are the ultimate 'Challenge MVP.' The Living Libretto: Opera in Eden gives audiences a first glimpse at three new one-act operas being written by first year resident artists in American Lyric Theater's Composer Librettist Development Program (CLDP)

The Marsh, acclaimed as a premier venue for solo shows and new works, welcomes a collaboration between lauded playwright Lynne Kaufman and award-winning director Robert Kelley with Two Minds. Returning to The Marsh after her hit run of Acid Test: The Many Incarnations of Ram Dass, Kaufman's new drama re-envisions the relationship between two men who changed the way people think. Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky's groundbreaking research on how people make decisions won the brilliant Israeli psychologists a Nobel Prize and a McArthur Genius Award. The pair was intellectually so aligned they could finish each other's sentences, but emotionally their differences tore them apart. Two Minds weaves together the story of their unique partnership as well as their troubled friendship.

REPRISE 2.0 is now announced, presenting a season of three classic American musicals at UCLA's Freud Playhouse, by Marcia Seligson, Producing Artistic Director of the new performing arts organization.  REPRISE 2.0 is partnering with the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television's Department of Theater (UCLA TFT), chaired by Brian Kite.

Complete casting has been announced for Charles Busch's return to Theater for the New City (Crystal Field, Executive Artistic Director) in his uproarious new comedy The Confession of Lily Dare, directed by Busch's longtime collaborator Carl Andress (The Tribute Artist, Judith of Bethulia, The Divine Sister).

American Lyric Theater Presents THE LIVING LIBRETTO: Opera In Eden on March 18, 2018 at 3pm at The National Opera Center, 330 Seventh Avenue, NYC.

'Distant Observer: Tokyo/New York Correspondence' is a collaboration between Japanese playwright/director Takeshi Kawamura and American playwright/director John Jesurun. The project is conceived as a play written and directed in collaborative partnership by both artists. Written in sequential chapters by each playwright, it combines two noted and formative artists of the same generation, both with distinct voices and significant work, in a deep creative conversation across cultures. Its plot follows a supposed murderer who reinvents himself, and is reinvented by circumstance, in a series of adventures in the Suicide Forest of Japan.  La MaMa will present the play's world premiere, directed by Jesurun, March 16 to April 1 in its Ellen Stewart Theatre, 66 East Fourth Street.

Due to demand, The New Group has announced a three-week extension for Jerry Springer - The Opera, with Matt McGrath appearing as Jerry Springer beginning March 13.  Terrence Mann, currently appearing in the role of Jerry Springer, plays his final performance March 11 due to an existing commitment beyond that date.
