The first U.S. National tour of the hit musical THE BODYGUARD, will play the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts from April 10 - 15. Tickets are on sale now.

MasterVoices - dedicated to celebrating the power of the human voice through the art of musical storytelling - presents two performances of a new production of Orphic Moments, in conjunction with producers Anthony Roth Costanzo and Cath Brittan. 

In May of 2017, native Staten Islander, Julio Vincent Gambuto, launched Borough Five Pictures, a new independent film and television production company, based in Los Angeles and New York City. Borough Five Pictures is preparing for its first feature film production, TEAM MARCO. The first feature film is part of a 5-year commitment to produce and direct in the greenest borough of New York City, Staten Island. When Anna falls in love with a shipwrecked sailor, her father and her suitor come to recognize their own culpability in her plight, and all three struggle in their own way for salvation. Following his acclaimed production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Scott Edmiston takes a fresh look at one of America's greatest playwrights.

The 17th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its lineup of 55 diverse and engaging short films in competition, including 29 world premieres. The selected shorts include a cross-section of international and U.S. filmmakers and were curated from a record 4,754 submissions. For the second year running, 40% of the selections are directed by female filmmakers. The short films will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs, which consist of five narrative, three documentary, one animation, and one hybrid program. The program will also include special screenings and the 12th annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival, sponsored by Mohegan Sun. The Shorts Film program, sponsored by Nutella®, runs throughout the Festival, April 18-29.

For her tenth album and first album on a major label in nearly thirty years, legendary soul singer Bettye LaVette takes on the songs of Bob Dylan with the grit and experience that makes her one of the greatest living soul singers. Things Have Changed is a masterpiece of interpretation of one of the greatest songwriters alive, by one of the greatest soul singers alive. Keith Richards and Trombone Shorty guest on the Steve Jordan-produced album, which is set for release on Verve Records on March 30.

Acclaimed film and television actor Paul Anderson will play the title role in Tartuffe at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, alongside celebrated French stage and screen star Audrey Fleurot as Elmire. In the West End's first ever dual-language production, Moliere's classic comedy re-imagines Tartuffe as a radical American evangelist who uproots the life of a French film tycoon in Hollywood.

Ragged Wing Ensemble, known throughout the Bay Area for its original, ensemble-driven productions, presents A Different Long Stretch of Earth, an original play written by Addie Ulrey for Ragged Wing's core company (and directed by Amy Sass). Inspired by her work at the intersection of arts nonprofits and social justice as well as her fickle and persistent love of the Old West, Ulrey takes us into the contemporary American West where a group of characters wrestle with the mindsets and mythologies of our collective past and explore how they shape our ability to envision the future.

Final cast is today announced for Charles Court Opera's smart, stylish, sparkling fresh version of the most loved of Gilbert and Sullivan's comic masterpieces, The Mikado.

This March the more than twenty organizations in ten cities nationwide that compose the Poetry Coalition will launch Where My Dreaming and My Loving Live: Poetry & the Body, the coalition's second annual programming initiative. For this collaborative effort, each organization will bring its unique mission to the task of presenting programs and projects on the theme of the body. Programs will include a range of events and publications that address issues including mass incarceration, transphobia, violence against people of color, and health and self-care. This programming is made possible in part by a grant from the Ford Foundation secured by the Academy of American Poets.

Those who have made significant contributions to the arts in a variety of categories will be recognized for their achievements in enriching the communities and citizens of Utah at the 13th Annual Star Awards held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem.

Art Wynwood, the premier winter contemporary art fair presented by Art Miami, returned for its seventh edition at its new location of One Herald Plaza in Downtown Miami on February 15th - 19th where it welcomed more than 25,500 people who admired world-renowned contemporary and modern art from emerging talent, mid-career artists, blue chip, post-war and modern masters showcasing a dynamic array of murals, pop surrealism, street art and other genres.
