While reminiscing on his time in Shepherdstown, Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF) General Manager Joshua Midgett professes "I will fondly remember the talented artists, leaders, and friends I've had the chance to work with while living and working in the eastern panhandle."

Last year's favorite Mo-to-the-oncle (pronounced MO-to-the-AWN-uh-kuhl) returns to the 2018 KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival (Wednesday, Sept. 12 - Saturday, Sept. 22) on Saturday, September 15 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 16 at 4 p.m. at the School of the Arts Ensemble Theatre (45 Prince Street, Rochester, NY 14607). Rumors have begun to fly regarding the casting of the upcoming Disney live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. The Hashtag Show has reported that a source close to Disney revealed that Zendaya has been offered the role of Ariel.

The Atlanta Opera opens its 2018-19 season with the Southeastern debut of Charlie Parker's YARDBIRD, a new opera about the legendary saxophonist and jazz pioneer.

The Playwrights Realm (Katherine Kovner, Founding Artistic Director; Roberta Pereira, Producing Director) today announces the complete cast and creative team for the world premiere of Jonathan Payne's The Revolving Cycles Truly and Steadily Roll'd, directed by Awoye Timpo (Sept. 7-Oct. 6, at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project).  This world premiere marks the first full production from the mordantly funny and unsparing voice of Jonathan Payne.

Perseverance Theatre has hired Joshua Midgett as its next managing director. Midgett will join the company's leadership team this fall as Perseverance launches its 40th season, reporting to the Board of Directors alongside Art Rotch, who's transitioning from his longtime role as executive artistic director to that of artistic director.

This must-have on-wax collection also includes 2013's combo Save Rock And Roll (PAX•AM Edition) for the first time ever on 12-inch vinyl. The Donmar announces full casting for Artistic Director Josie Rourke's production of Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare. Joining the previously announced Hayley Atwell and Jack Lowden are Ben Allen, Matt Bardock, Nicholas Burns, Jackie Clune, Rachel Denning, Molly Harris, Adam McNamara, Raad Rawi, Sule Rimi, Anwar Russell and Helena Wilson.

The Mississippi Museum of Art (the Museum) announces that it will present Jeffrey Gibson: Like A Hammer, the first major survey of work by contemporary artist Jeffrey Gibson (b. 1972), from September 8, 2018 through January 27, 2019, in its Gertrude C. Ford Galleries for the Permanent Collection. Organized by and currently on view at the Denver Art Museum (DAM), Like A Hammer showcases Gibson's acclaimed multi-disciplinary work from 2011 to the present. The exhibition is being presented with generous support from the Selby and Richard McRae Foundation.

Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, will release My WayWillie Nelson's new studio album (and 12th for the label)on Friday, September 14.

The Ladies Foursome was based upon an earlier play by Foster entitled The Foursome, in which four men who are old buddies from college, play 18 holes of golf. Foster shifted the story to feature four women instead of four men, and changed the plot in specific ways to fit his new cast of characters. Ladies Foursome premiered at the Morrisburg Theatre in Montreal, Canada in July of 2014. The show received glowing reviews with many critics claiming that this new Foursome was better than the first. Soon after, the play received an American premiere at the B Street Theatre, and since then has been produced at the Bay Theatre in Baltimore, Theatre Baddeck in Cape Brenton Island, and the Toowoomba Theatre in Canada.

Julia Garner ('Ozark') and Juno Temple ('Vinyl,' 'Wonder Wheel,' 'Black Mass') have joined the cast of Bravo Media's 'Dirty John' as the daughters of Debra Newell (Connie Britton), who are both skeptical about their mother's relationship with John Meehan (Eric Bana). Joining the previously announced Jean Smart who will play Debra's mother Arlane, Garner will star as Terra Newell, while Temple will star as Veronica Newell. The scripted anthology series, based on the articles and breakout true crime podcast of the same name from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard, tells the true story of how Debra's romance with the charismatic John Meehan spiraled into secrets, denial and manipulation.

BroadwayHD announced today that it will debut Bright Colors And Bold Patterns at Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival on July 18th. The show's final live performance filmed by BroadwayHD will also be available on the platform July 19th.

The BROADWAY PRINCESS PARTY is having a homecoming of sorts. The brand, led by Benjamin Rauhala and Laura Osnes (Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA), touched down at Feinstein's/54 Below (then simply 54 Below) back in August 2015, returning for four more engagements over the next three years. When the show returns to the space on June 25, it will look a bit different than what New York audiences may have come to expect.
