Style Media announces broad development slate for 2013-2014 with the addition of nine new concepts which focus on the network's key pillars of beauty and fashion as well as home design and entertaining. These series in development join previously announced competition series 'Glam Squad' (working title) from executive producer and Academy Award winner Charlize Theron. Additionally, the network is teaming up with Selita Ebanks to follow her as she transitions from supermodel to fashion mogul and with Jack Osbourne who serves as executive producer of a comedic look at outrageous, fashion-obsessed divas.

Martha Plimpton (Raising Hope) reads from Jersey girl Sylvia Beach's memoir about opening Shakespeare & Company bookstore in Paris in 1919, at Symphony Space's April 11 Selected Shorts. The evening is devoted to literary life in Paris in the 1920s-40s and in Brooklyn today.

The cast and crew of Into the Woods are rehearsing to take the stage of The Pearlstone Theater tomorrow, March 7, with CENTERSTAGE's Into the Woods, a co-production with Westport Country Playhouse. Leading the adventure is director Mark Lamos (also Artistic Director at Westport), who last visited CENTERSTAGE with his staging of Sondheim's A Little Night Music.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that seven plays will be developed at the 2010 National Playwrights Conference under the leadership of artistic director Wendy C. Goldberg. The selected playwrights will spend the month of July at the O'Neill's Waterford, Connecticut campus developing and presenting staged readings of their work during the NPC's 46th season. Box office and online ticket sales open Wednesday, June 9; advance ticket sales will be available to O'Neill Members beginning Monday, May 17.

The Theatre and Interpretation Center at Northwestern University will continue its 2008-09 season in May with the two remaining Mainstage productions: an adaptation of a Pierre Corneille classic, and a Holocaust drama by Israeli playwright and director Joshua Sobol. It also will present a Wallis Works-In-Progress adaptation of a story by Zimbabwean doctor and celebrated writer J. Nozipo Maraire.
