Plan to arrive early so you can take advantage reading all the information posted in several areas of the lobby (as well as in the two main theater entrances) about Tadeusz Ko?ciuszko, a Polish freedom fighter who assisted Thomas Jefferson in the formation of our country, as his remarkable life and beliefs are central to the plot of this play.

When the mention of the name Frankenstein is made, the common visual reference is that of Boris Karloff, who was a large green monster with screws in his head, as featured in the 1931 horror film. Karloff, in fact, played Frankenstein's monster, not Henry Frankenstein, the young scientist who created the being from parts collected from various sources, including the brain of a criminal, which was brought to life through electrical devices.

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) is proud to announce the revival of FRANKENSTEIN'S WAKE, an original show by creative team Raymond Bobgan (CPT Executive Artistic Director) and Holly Holsinger (actor/director and 2016 Creative Workforce Fellow). The production previews January 7, 8, 9 and 14 before opening for a three-weekend run from January 15-30 in Cleveland Public Theatre's Church, a former Romanian Orthodox Church acquired by the theatre in 2009, located at 6201 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH on the east end of Cleveland Public Theatre's campus.
