The multiple award-winning Echo Theater Company, named 'Best Bet for Ballsy Original Plays' by the LA Weekly, continues its 2015 season with two Los Angeles premieres scheduled to run in repertory. Row After Row by Jessica Dickey (The Amish Project) opens tonight, April 25 at 5 p.m., with A Small Fire by Obie Award-winner Adam Bock (The Drunken City, The Receptionist) opening that same evening at 8 p.m. The two plays will continue to run in tandem every weekend through May 31 at the Echo's home in Atwater Village Theatre. 'Great Kills' by Tom Diriwachter is a darkly comic tale of a get-rich-quick scheme in Staten Island that goes awry. Theater for the New City (TNC) will present the play's debut run tonight, March 26 to April 12, featuring Joe Pantoliano (who is noted for his starring roles on Broadway, film and TV), Robert Homeyer and Peter Welch. Jonathan Weber directs.

Casting has been announced for The Hub Theatre's Spring production of THE TYPOGRAPHER'S DREAM, by Obie-Award winning playwright Adam Bock. Three professionals, a typographer (KATIE NIGSCH), geographer (JENNA SOKOLOWSKI), and stenographer (DANIEL COREY) strive to explain their work in this humorous examination of art and occupation, boundaries, and self truth.

This weekend the presents their fourth annual New American Voices Play Reading Series featuring MY FRIEND DAHMER by Jake Arky, EBENEZER CREEK by James McLindon, directed by Cheramie Hopper, LILY'S BLUE by David Alan Brown, directed by Jacey Little, and finally, THE ME GENERATION by Catherine Rush, directed by Paige Kiliany.

The World Premiere of Dangerous to Dance With continues at the Off Center Theatre in Crown Center through Saturday July 26. Written by Bill Rogers Dangerous to Dance With is produced in conjunction with the KC Fringe Festival. Diane Bulan directs the Martin Tanner Production starring Victor Raider-Wexler, Vincent Monachino, Jim Hopkins, Kelsea McLean, and Coleman Crenshaw.
