Birmingham Hippodrome have announced that Australian actor, singer and much-loved personality Jason Donovan will make his pantomime debut in this year's long-awaited pantomime, Goldilocks and the Three Bears from Saturday 19 December alongside previously announced returning favourite Matt Slack.

Evelyn 'Champagne' King, one of the most prolific R&B artists of our time and Grammy® Award winner will showcase her mega hit singles 'SHAME', 'I'M IN LOVE' and 'LOVE COME DOWN',  with her 5-piece band and back up singers as headliner for Halloween Palm Springs Thursday, October 31. The party starts at 4:00p.m. and entertainment from 5:00-10:00p.m.  Bringing the beat to the street will be Pulp Vixen, Probe 7, DJ Galaxy and Channel Q 103.1 FM's Lisa Pittman!

It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long awards season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. After half a century at the forefront of the worldwide electronic music scene, JEAN-MICHEL JARRE has integrated many of his unique sounds in EQUINOXE INFINITY, his new studio album due out November 16 on Astralwerks.  He has mixed them with new electronic dialogue formats and rhythmic patterns to create a poetic vision of the future.  Today (November 2),the 'Godfather of Electronic Music' has made available the first track for U.S. shores with 'Robots Don't Cry.'  

Madeleine Potter and Donald Sage Mackay complete the cast for the forthcoming West End Premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winner Sam Shepard's ferociously funny, modern classic, True West. They will join the previously announced Kit Harington - renowned for his leading role in the internationally acclaimed series Game of Thrones - and Johnny Flynn - star of the widely celebrated film Beast and US TV series Genius, and who received rave reviews for his performance in the New York transfer of Hangmen, in the first UK production of Shepard's work since his death last summer. True West will play a limited season at the Vaudeville Theatre from Friday 23 November - Saturday 16 February (Press Night: Tuesday 4 December at 7:00pm).

With his upcoming best-of PLANET JARRE set for release September 14 on SONY, the Godfather of Electronic Music JEAN-MICHEL JARRE (JMJ) celebrates his birthday today (August 24) with 'Coachella Opening.' National New Play Network, the country's alliance of professional theaters that collaborate in innovative ways to develop, produce, and extend the life of new plays, announces its 2018-19 grant recipients, including the 2018 Smith Prize for Political Theatre, six Producer Residencies, and five Collaboration Fund awards that will support partnerships between multiple Member Theaters, playwrights, and other theater makers in various projects.

New York City staple Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that Tony & Emmy Award winner Stockard Channing will return to the New York stage in the Off-Broadway premiere of APOLOGIA, by Alexi Kaye Campbell (The Pride). APOLOGIA will be directed by three-time Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin (Bad Jews, Skintight). Channing returns to the role of "Kristin" in Apologia following an acclaimed run in London's West End in 2017.

Performance Space 122, the birthplace of contemporary performance as it is known today, returns to its legendary home in the East Village, under the leadership of new Executive Artistic Director Jenny Schlenzka, after nearly six years presenting new works in partnership with venues across New York City. The institution will welcome the public to its newly renovated, column-free facilities at 150 1st Avenue - custom-designed by Deborah Berke Partners for interdisciplinary performance - with its 2018 Coil Festival (January 10 February 4, 2018).

An eclectic lineup is featured this month at Blue Note Hawaii with an array of iconic national artists, local favorites and hilarious comedians. The Blue Note Hawaii Comedy Series continues this month with Steve Byrne and Louie Anderson. More artists this month include bandoneon player JP Jofre and his Nuevo Tango Quartet, the amazing flamenco guitarist Ottmar Liebert and pop singer-songwriter Eric Hutchinson. There are also two late-night shows with self-proclaimed blues road dog G Love, following his performances at the sold-out Jack Johnson concerts.
