Channing Dungey, president, ABC Entertainment, announced key Marketing appointments today, including her new head of the department. Rebecca Daugherty will oversee the department and has been promoted to executive vice president, Marketing. In this position, Ms. Daugherty will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities for ABC's primetime, daytime and late-night lineups, while establishing the tone and brand for the network. Her duties include oversight and strategic planning, creative development and implementation of all on-air and off-air marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns for all ABC Entertainment programming, including scripted and reality series, alternative, movies and specials. Patrick Moran, president, ABC Studios also announced that Ms. Daugherty will oversee ABC Studios' marketing efforts domestically and internationally for shows on ABC and other third party platforms including CBS, Freeform, Showtime, Netflix, Hulu and more.

Greenhouse Theater Center (GTC) and Artistic Director Jacob Harvey are pleased to announce the formation of the new MC-10 Playwrights Ensemble, a collection of ten of the country's most sought-after established and mid-career Chicago playwrights and theatre-makers. The ensemble will be in residence at the Greenhouse Theater Center and will create new works for its stages. Beginning with the 2018-19 season, the Greenhouse will present one play per season by MC-10 member playwrights, eventually expanding to two MC-10 productions per season. These world and regional premieres aim to expand the scope, diversity and visibility of work happening at the Greenhouse and underscore the institution's commitment to creating new vital works for the American theatrical canon.

Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival , one of New York's premier summer performance series, kicks off its 51st season on July 25. Among the highlights in the first two weeks are a special opening concert led by Louis Langrée, Renée and Robert Belfer Music Director, featuring traditional and indigenous songs from Mozart's time; a choral presentation by Les Arts Florissants; and guest conductors Edward Gardner and Gianandrea Noseda; festival debuts by more than 10 artists, including Kit Armstrong, Janai Brugger, Jennifer Johnson Cano, S? Percussion, Beatrice Rana, Ksenija Sidorova, and the Young People's Chorus of New York City; and the New York premiere of David Lang's concerto for percussion, man made. On Monday, July 17, 2017, Grammy nominated songwriter and singer Tracy Randall, in addition to battling cancer for the second time openly speaks about his everyday struggle with bi-polar disorder, will release, 'Be Free-Official Video', the third single from his third studio album, 'No Judgment', to impact radio.The Lavish Records recording artist Tracy Randall isn't supposed to be here. In 2006, he was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia, underwent aggressive rounds of chemo and radiation therapy, and his doctors gave up.
