Each year, Double Edge Theatre welcomes thousands of spectators to its Farm in Ashfield, MA to experience its Indoor/Outdoor Traveling Summer Spectacle. Over the past sixteen years, this annual performance has become an iconic, must-see summer event in Western MA. Double Edge's 2018 Summer Spectacle will be a new imagining of We The People, the theatre's 2017 Spectacle, which ran for three weeks last year, and was sold out before opening night.

The Artistic Home Ensemble will present the Chicago premiere of Lauren Gunderson's ADA AND THE ENGINE as the final entry in its three-play 2018-19 season, according to company Artistic Director Kathy Scambiatterra, who announced the season today. The 36-year-old Gunderson was the most-produced playwright in America during 2017, according to American Theatre Magazine.

The NYTB REP program with a World Premiere by Richard Alston has now added encore performances of three of Jerome Robbins' rarely seen ballets: Septet, Concertino and Rondo, recently performed in sold-out shows in The Harkness Dance Festival 2018 at 92Y. The program will feature live music for all works.

In The Kitchen's gallery, two new video installations take a retrospective look at Atlas' work while offering a counterpoint to his interactive 2003 show Instant Fame! and its portraits of downtown figures (through May 12).

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC)made its spring announcement of 18 new shows added to the 2018-2019 season, continuing to showcase chart topping musicians, compelling dance companies, groundbreaking storytellers and authors and a wide range of holiday performances, all appealing to diverse audiences. The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago, partnering with national and local community organizations, artist practitioners and scholars, continues its B-Series, a biannual celebration of hip hop and street dance, with Under 1 Roof: A House & Hip-Hop Convergence featuring B-Bout It, a street-dance jam and battle. Partnering with Kuumba Lynx, Urbanized Music, BraveSoul Movement, Modern Dance Music Research and Archiving Foundation, New Rhythm Arts Center and The Community Schools Program, the B-Series presents a mini hip-hop and street dance festival featuring presentations, workshops, dialogue sessions and a community dance jam and competition.

Bauhaus' member Kevin Haskins will be releasing 'Bauhaus – Undead: The Visual History and Legacy of Bauhaus' on March 16via Cleopatra Records.
