Rivendell Announces 2019 Season

Rivendell Theatre Ensemble proudly announces the first two shows of its 2019 Season including the Midwest Premieres of I Wanna F**king Tear You Apart by Morgan Gould and directed by Jessica Fisch and Something Clean by Selina Fillinger and directed by Lauren Shouse. Something Clean is a co-production with Sideshow Theatre and will be performed at the Victory Gardens Richard Christiansen Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Chicago. I Wanna Fucking Tear You Apart and other Rivendell productions will be performed at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, 5779 N. Ridge Avenue in Chicago. Capdesuner is the third Roundabout Directing Fellow; this season she is assisting Daniel Aukin (Apologia), James Macdonald (True West) and Margot Bordelon (Something Clean), working with the theatre's artistic team as a script reader, and using Roundabout's resources to develop her own projects. Northlight Theatre to Receive $20,000 Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts

Evans, has been awarded a 2017 Art Works grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The $20,000 grant will support the world premiere production of Faceless, written by Selina Fillinger. Faceless was developed through Northlight's Interplay Program, an initiative that invests in provocative new works by American and international playwrights, providing customized support in the critical stages of early play development.
