Marking an incredible milestone of presenting 'stars under the stars,' the HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival presented by Bank of America with Swedish Fish, JLL, WeWork, and Time Out in association with Bryant Park Corporation, celebrates its 25th Anniversary with a New York themed line-up. The free outdoor festival returns Monday evenings at sunset, beginning June 19 and running through August 21.

Emily Keeler, San Francisco Arts Education's Artistic Director, announced today that the San Francisco Arts Education Project's 2017 production is the classic Broadway musical Carnival, which introduced the song "Love Makes the World Go 'Round." A troupe of 43 young people, ages 9 to 14, revive this Broadway musical gem from 1961 with a book by Michael Stewart (Bye Bye Birdie, Hello, Dolly!, 42nd Street) and a score by Bob Merrill (Funny Girl, Sugar) and based on the 1953 film Lili starring Leslie Caron.

New plays by Neil LaBute, Marta Buchaca and Marco Calvani - leading writers/directors representing contemporary voices in drama in the U.S., Spain and Italy, respectively - will be given their U.S. debuts in the 3rd edition of the ambitious, provocative series of one-act plays, AdA: AUTHOR DIRECTING AUTHOR, running Off-Broadway at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St. NYC) with previews starting January 19, 2017 prior to opening January 23.
