Theatre Development Fund's TKTS TUESDAYS to Launch Next Week

TDF (Theatre Development Fund) is launching TKTS TUESDAYS next Tuesday, March 29. A giveaway every Tuesday of a $100 TKTS Gift Certificate* or other theatre-related prize to the patron who makes the 100th purchase at the iconic TKTS Discount Booth in Duffy Square (47th Street and Broadway), TKTS TUESDAYS will continue through the summer.

Theatre West's Studio City-adjacent home on Cahuenga Blvd. West, the oldest continuous operating stage space in Los Angeles, has been saved by an anonymous “angel.” A longtime Theatre West patron has purchased the building, occupied by the company since 1967 but up for sale since May, and extended Theatre West's lease for a minimum of five years.

Burning Coal Theatre Announces Four Corners Project

With creative spaces at a premium throughout the Triangle, Burning Coal Theatre Company would like to announce the Four Corners Project, which will begin in its 2020/2021 season. This project will make available the Murphey School space for one week, four times a year to creative individuals or companies with innovative and exciting projects.  The projects should be either performance or visual art-related and should not involve a fee for its participants.  The projects do not have to include a performance, though they may, but should be focused on exploring issues around performance or the creation of art. Nothing is too 'out there'!

AMC Networks has viewers covered this holiday season as the second annual “Best Christmas Ever,” returns with its largest slate of holiday programming to-date featuring over 60 films and specials airing all day, every day, and this year, expands to all five of AMC Networks. Beginning Monday, November 25 through Christmas Day, the monthlong programming event will offer up more than 700 hours of holiday-themed movies, specials and family favorite films. AMC Networks will be the exclusive home to many holiday favorites including Elf, The Polar Express, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Miracle on 34th Street ('94), Four Christmases, Fred Claus and Rankin-Bass Christmas classics including The Year Without a Santa Claus, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, Jack Frost, and Rudolph's Shiny New Year, among many others. This year's newly expanded Best Christmas Ever holiday event will feature a schedule takeover on AMC, and daily marathons across the other AMC Networks including BBC America, IFC, Sundance TV and WEtv.
