Virginia Children's Theatre (VCT) is committed to bringing high quality music, theatre and dance education to students all around the Commonwealth. Brett Roden, VCT's Producing Artistic Director, is proud to announce that during the 2022-2023 Season VCT will expand its education outreach and touring performance offerings in order to bring professional theatre to even more Virginia students and audiences.

The Board of Trustees of Barrington Stage Company have announced that Alan Paul as the company's new Artistic Director. Paul, who is currently the Associate Artistic Director of the Tony Award-winning Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC, will succeed Julianne Boyd, BSC co-founder and Artistic Director, who is retiring at the end of the 2022 season after leading the company for 27 years.

Out of the Box Theatrics announced they will produce the first Off-Broadway revival of the critically acclaimed musical, Floyd Collins. The production, to be directed by Christina Sajous (Broadway’s SpongeBob SquarePants, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, American Idiot; Out of the Box Theatrics’ 2019 production of Baby), will play from November 11 through December 18, 2022.

The GLOUCESTER STAGE COMPANY will present the Tony Award-nominated GRAND HORIZONS next in the lineup of its 2022 season. Robert Walsh returns to Gloucester Stage to direct this thought-provoking comedy of marital malaise by award-winning playwright Bess Wohl, running from July 29 to August 21.
