Audience members at today's production of ROMEO AND JULIET at the Stratford Festival were in for a real treat...And some of them had no idea!  There was a delightful murmur of excitement from the crowd when Artistic Director (and 1992 Romeo) Antoni Cimolino came onstage to announce that in celebration of the Festival's 65th season, a group of former Romeos and Juliets were in attendance!

Dr. Peter Simon, Michael and Sonja Koerner President & CEO of The Royal Conservatory of Music, Mervon Mehta, Executive Director of Performing Arts, and James Anagnoson, Dean of The Glenn Gould School, revealed today the details of the ninth concert season since the opening of Koerner Hall in 2009.

Oh, yeah, a calendar (yeah, like we'd ever allow a calendar to hang on any wall under our control - today is May 31, 2017! The Nora Theatre Company will present the world premiere of Alan Brody's The Midvale High School Fiftieth Reunion from June 1 - July 2, 2017. The Midvale High School Fiftieth Reunion is directed by Lee Mikeska Gardner. The press performance is Monday, June 5 at 7:30PM.

The Revolution has gathered together to celebrate and pay tribute to their PRINCE. The band will set off on their first coast-to-coast foray in decades in response to the overwhelming reaction of February's surprise announcement of their reunion.

Underground Railway Theater will present Tony Kushner's Homebody from April 20 - May 7, 2017. Homebody is directed by Lee Mikeska Gardner. The press performance is Saturday, April 22 at 8PM.

After a stunning response to the surprise announcement of their first tour in decades, The Revolution have now confirmed plans for an extensive North American tour.  The reunion, which began as just six dates, including a special show at Paisley Park for Celebration 2017, quickly expanded even further when demand made it necessary to add second shows in Chicago, New York and Philadelphia.  Now, the quintet are set to bring their exciting new show to the rest of the U.S. with additional dates that bring the band through the midwest and on to the west coast.  The current itinerary ends on July 15th in Seattle, with even more dates expected to be announced soon.

HAIR cast members from the original Broadway production, revival Broadway cast and film adaptation will perform at Joe's Pub on February 20 at 9:30pm in a concert titled 'Presidents Day Be-In: A night of Peace, Love & Revolution.'

ETOnline.com reports that Prince's former band, The Revolution is planning a reunion tour which was formed by the late singer, in the wake of his passing.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Anne Jackson, who was nominated for a Tony in 1956 for MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and who enjoyed a long career with her husband, Eli Wallach, died Tuesday, April 12, in Manhattan. She was 90.
