Kristen Bell became the first-ever host of the SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS last night, and took on some tough issues in her opening monologue for the show.

Mad Cat continues its 18th season with a production of a world-premiere play CASSIE by Jessica Farr. After an international space mission goes awry, a lone astronaut and a sentient computer travel on a journey through space and time, navigating through the possibility of never returning home again. Jessica Farr decided to begin writing a piece about space travel in order to imagine worlds that could be viable alternatives to living on earth.

Peter Groom is an actor, dancer and choreographer, originally from Newcastle. Since graduating from Guildford School of Acting in 2013 he has gone on to work both in the UK and internationally, with credits including Schaubuhne, Berlin and Aquilla Theatre, New York. Alongside this he began to create his own devised work, and then in 2016 started working as a drag performer, with performances at Battersea Arts Centre, The Glory and Royal Vauxhall Tavern. His new show Dietrich: Natural Duty has its world premiere at the VAULT Festival later this month. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Peter.
