Lynne was last seen here in 2017 as Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly! and as Mother Superior in Sister Act, where she solidified her place as Music Circus royalty and left audiences anticipating her return. For its seventh year of offering plays by contemporary Irish playwrights to Portland audiences, Corrib Theatre announces a three-show season: Eclipsed by Patricia Burke Brogan, James X by Gerard Mannix Flynn, and Kissing the Witch by Emma Donoghue. Cole Porter's musical comedy Kiss Me, Kate - 2019 Broadway Cast Recording is available for digital download and streaming starting today, Friday, June 7.

Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that the new musical, Mrs. Doubtfire, will premiere at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre this fall on route to Broadway.  The musical features a book Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell and music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, the Tony Award nominated team behind Something Rotten!  Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (Hello, Dolly!) will direct and Lorin Latarro (Waitress) will choreograph.  Ethan Popp (Tina) will serve as Music Supervisor.

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS will release the 2019 Broadway Cast Recording for Cole Porter's musical comedy Kiss Me, Kate. The album will be released for digital download and streaming on Friday, June 7. The CD release is planned for later this year.

The 72nd Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 10th at 8/9c hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles. Overture Center for the Arts announced today that two Jerry Award 'Outstanding Leading Performance' recipients performed and were selected to advance to The Jimmy Awards, also known as the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (NHSMTA), held in New York City. A kitschy yet cerebral, retro mash-up film titled The History of Everything Circa 1993 to the Present: Formerly Known as Kissy Cousins, Monster Babies and Morphing Elvis, directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Wayne J. Keeley and co-produced by his wife, Emmy-nominated Stephanie C. Lyons-Keeley, (along with Emmy Award-winning business partner and friend Craig Dobson) will screen at Manhattan Repertory Theatre's STORIES Film Festival which takes place May 15 - 19, 2019, just a block from Times Square.

On your mark, get set, GO! Discovery Channel is taking viewers inside the not-so-secret world of underground truck racing for the ultimate adrenaline rush in the brand-new series, DIRTY MUDDER TRUCKERS. Chuck Davis, Chris Ledford and Matt Steele founded 'Trucks Gone Wild' in 2005 with small bogging and truck pull down events in the Central Florida area. These events have evolved into fierce, thrilling competitions with the baddest drivers and trucks out there. In this all-new series, the Dirty 7 - a crew of top racers in Central Florida - get down and dirty in The Pit facing challengers from around the country and pushing their machines to the limit. DIRTY MUDDER TRUCKERS premieres Monday, May 27th at 10pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel.

Ghostlight Records has announced it will record a new cast album of Cole Porter's musical comedy Kiss Me, Kate, based on the current hit production from the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO). The show is directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed by Warren Carlyle with music direction by Paul Gemignani and features a book by Sam and Bella Spewack, and music and lyrics by Cole Porter. Kiss Me, Kate marks the 24th cast album recording for Roundabout Theatre Company, since launching the musical theatre program with She Loves Me in 1993. The album, produced by Kurt Deutsch and Lawrence Manchester, will be recorded Monday, April 22.

T-Mobile Arena and the MGM Grand Garden Arena, two of Las Vegas' leading sports and entertainment venues, have launched a comprehensive partnership with City National Bank, America's premier private and business bank. The multiyear agreement, brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, strategically aligns the brands and establishes City National Bank as a Founding Partner, a premium designation, of T-Mobile Arena. Hylton Performing Arts Center announced today its 2019-2020 season of mainstage performances, featuring a diverse lineup of artists and ensembles across genres, as part of Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, Matinee Idylls, and the American Roots Series. The Hylton Center also announced the first Hylton Center EXTRA! for the season: the husband and wife duo and banjo icons, B la Fleck and Abigail Washburn, in a special concert event featuring their unique blend of alternative bluegrass. The Immanuel and Helen Olshan TEXAS MUSIC FESTIVAL (TMF) will mount its landmark 30th Anniversary Season June 1-29, celebrating the successes of nearly 3,000 of classical music's rising stars over the past three decades. For this musical milestone, three former TMF Fellows will return to the University of Houston (UH) Moores Opera House (MOH) stage as guest artists:
