Lincoln Center Out of Doors (LCOOD) will present three weeks of FREE music and dance on the plazas of Lincoln Center from July 28 to August 15 in the 40th annual edition of the popular outdoor summer festival.

Crown Center Square. The famous Crown Center Square Fountain dances to famous tunes! Programmed by the company behind the renowned Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas, Crown Center's fountain is synchronized to music specially recorded for Crown Center by members of the Kansas City Symphony. The show schedule: Weekday shows at noon and on the hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Weekend shows on the hour from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. There is also a 10 p.m. show on Friday and Saturday. 816-274-8444.

Thrillpeddlers happily announces that due to popular demand and sold-out houses, its award-winning production of PEARLS OVER SHANGHAI, San Francisco's longest-running Cockettes Musical Hit has been extended again - through Dec. 19, 2010 (schedules vary - see below). What started as a two-month limited engagement in June 2009 will now play for a year and a half! PEARLS has unanimously received rave reviews from critics and audience alike. It's a phenomenon that keeps on growing. Originally produced as a Nocturnal Dream Show and performed at midnight at the Palace Theatre in Chinatown in San Francisco, Hot Greeks was the fabled & fabulous Cockettes' only other scripted book musical besides Pearls Over Shanghai. Hot Greeks is directed by Russell Blackwood, and original Cockette and composer Richard 'Scrumbly' Koldewyn serves as Musical Director. The cast includes SF favorite Connie Champagne, and Thrillpeddlers stalwarts Birdie-Bob Watt, and the ever luminescent Michael Soldier as Lysistrata.
