After postponing their production of Joe Marshall's A Night In Vegas, which was originally slated to play at The Actors' Playhouse, the AlterNative Theatre Company (Joe Marshall, Founder/Artistic Director; Adrian Maynard, Managing Director) announces that as of Thursday, May 27 Joe Marshall's A Night In Vegas has found a new home at The Bleecker Street Theatre (45 Bleecker Street). Directed by Joe Marshall, opening bight will be Saturday, June 5. Premium seats are $50 and general admission tickets are $35 and can be purchased by visiting Telecharge.com.  (Please Note: A Night In Vegas has a special preview performance schedule listed below and beginning June 10 will play Thursday – Saturday at 10:30PM).

Set in the gayest hotel on the Vegas strip, Joe Marshall's award-winning comedy A Night in Vegas is a comedy that features six vignettes. The material covers everything from male prostitutes to anonymous sex, to gay marriage and everything in between. A Night in Vegas was awarded the AriZoni Award for Best Original Script and Best Overall Production and NUVO, Indy's Alternative Voice raved "Vegas will make you laugh!" and nytheatre.com has called Marshall's writing "adept at creative sitcom-style situations and at writing one-liners!" for his last NY production The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever!

The cast includes: Daniel Bak, Jonathan Craig, Edy Escamilla, Joe Fanelli, Ali Grieb, Denis Hawkins, Scott Lilly, Nicholas Pierro, Gerald Prosser Jr., Bill Purdy, Kelly Riley, Jason Romas, Drew Stark, Chris von Hoffmann. Creative team includes: Casper De la Torre (Lighting and Set Designer) and Seth Gamble (Costume Designer).

AlterNative Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are renowned for producing award-winning LGBT plays that engage an audience in a conversation relating to specific feelings and messages reflecting the gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gender community. Founded in 1991 by Joe Marshall, the company relocated from Arizona to New York in 2009. 

Joe MarshALL (writer/director) after studying at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, Joe Marshall continued his education at Arizona Technical Institute, obtaining an F.C.C. License in broadcast communication. He is the founder and artistic director for AlterNative Theatre Company. He has produced and written eleven plays, including the Off-Broadway hit The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever! His play A Night in Vegas received two AriZoni awards: Best Original Script and Best Overall Production. Joe has appeared as an actor in more than 40 shows and three films, including the movie Postcards From America and a national tour of the play The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Joe has directed and choreographed more than thirty award-winning productions. He also was the Director of Children's Programming at Theatre Works, winning five People's Choice awards.
