The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance at Showbox SoDo in Seattle Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 7:00 PM featuring performances by Bailey Bryan, Barry Dean, Sam Palladio and Cassadee Pope. Nickelodeon recently announced a partnership with publisher Abrams Children's Books to bring the world of its hit TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender to life with a series of Young Adult novels. The ATLAB series concluded in 2008, then spawned a companion series entitled The Legend of Korra set 70 years later. The series has lived on in graphic novel form and yesterday, it was announced that Netflix will be creating a live action series with the show's creators, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.

Christian Rey Marbella has recently taken over as The Engineer on the UK tour of Miss Saigon. This is his tenth year of being involved with the show and this UK tour marks his fifth production. He has been in Miss Saigon in Manila, on the Asian tour, on the first UK tour, the second UK tour, and was the alternate Engineer in the West End revival in 2014. He has also performed in theatre in the US and his native Philippines.
