The James Hunter Six to Release New Studio Album NICK OF TIME

Back in the spotlight with a sublime new rhythm and blues record, James Hunter follows up six critically acclaimed albums with his latest recording, Nick of Time, set for release on Brooklyn's renowned soul label Daptone Records. Nick of Time is a shining testament of how a master songsmith continually draws fresh water from a bottomless well. Recorded and produced by Bosco Mann, Nick of Time features one of today's foremost soul singers at the top of his game performing with musicians who've backed some of the biggest contemporary music stars including Daptone artists Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley. Nick of Time will be internationally released on March 6, 2020.

Stormzy Announces 'H.I.T.H. World Tour' 2020

Set to be one of the most highly anticipated tours of 2020, Stormzy has today announced a huge 55-date 'H.I.T.H. World Tour'. With shows spanning across Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, North America, UK & Ireland and Africa, the tour marks Stormzy's biggest live offering to date. Kicking off the tour in Dubai on February 7th and concluding in Africa in October, the tour will also see him make his solo debut at London's O2 Arena for two nights on 3rd & 4th of September, marking his first solo shows in the capital since his 3-day stint at Brixton Academy in May 2017! Subsequent to London's O2 Arena, Stormzy will grace the stages of 11 more arenas throughout the UK and Ireland, concluding at Bournemouth's international Centre on 22nd September. Thereafter he will head to Africa to tour for the first time, notably playing a date in his homeland of Ghana, before ending the world tour with a show in Lagos, Nigeria.

After selling out his first three dates at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, Armin van Buuren has announced an additional 'This Is Me' show, set to take place on Saturday 23 May. With the initial trio of shows selling out in record time during the pre-sales, the fourth 'This Is Me' event will give fans a chance to see the unique celebration of all things Armin van Buuren, as the Dutch maestro brings together all corners of his colourful career into one special performance. Fans from 81 countries are set to be in attendance for what promises to be a monumental series of shows.

The Drama League announced today the 2020 line-up of DirectorFest: The 36th Annual Directors Festival, the only festival in the United States dedicated to the art of contemporary stage directing. For its 36th year, the festival will include six fully-staged productions, a showcase concert of a new musical, a town hall, and conversations with directors including 2017 Tony Award Winner Rebecca Taichman (Indecent), 2014 Tony Award Winner and 2010 Drama League Founders Award for Excellence in Directing Kenny Leon (A Soldier's Play), and Intimacy Director Claire Warden (HBO's Mrs. Fletcher).

Kane Brown Announces First Worldwide Tour For 2020

Multi-Platinum, 3X AMA award-winning artist Kane Brown today announced his first ever international headlining tour, The Worldwide Beautiful Tour. Announced by USA Today, Kane Brown's Worldwide Beautiful Tour will kick off officially on February 2nd, 2020 internationally in Dublin, Ireland following Brown's sold-out Los Angeles Staples Center headlining date on January 9th as part of the Staples Center 20th Anniversary Celebration. The Worldwide Beautiful Tour will make stops in the US, Europe and Canada. Starting in Dublin (2/2), the tour will also head to London (2/4), Amsterdam (2/5), Paris (2/6), and Berlin (2/8) before circling back to kick-off the North American leg of the tour on February 29th. Country hitmakers Russell Dickerson and Chris Lane also join The Worldwide Beautiful Tour lineup, with each rotating direct support slots throughout the tour. An additional first of four opening act will be announced in 2020.  Tickets for The Worldwide Beautiful Tour will go on sale Friday, November 15th at 10am local time.*

The Ziegfeld Club, Inc., one of New York City's first performing arts charities to benefit women has announced that composer and lyricist Rona Siddiqui, whose autobiographical musical Salaam Medina Talse of a Halfghan will be workshopped at Playwrights Horizons this month, has been named the recipient of the fifth annual Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award (BBZA). Created to honor a female composer of musical theatre, the BBZA is a prestigious $10,000 cash grant. In addition, the recipient receives one year of artistic and professional mentorship from a prominent composer and a producer of musical theatre.

Following its top selling run at the Orange Tree Theatre this autumn, Maya Arad Yassur's strikingly original and audacious play Amsterdam will take to the road in early 2020. The three-way co-production, between Actors Touring Company, the Orange Tree Theatre and Theatre Royal Plymouth embarks on a tour that opens in Plymouth in February and stretches across the UK. Amsterdam is directed by Matthew Xia as his inaugural production as artistic director of ATC.

Two-time GRAMMY winner Tori Kelly will kick off 2020 with a tour in support of her new album, Inspired By True Events. The North American leg, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on January 28 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH. The headline run will include shows at Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City (January 31), Nashville's Ryman Auditorium (February 12) and The Wiltern in Los Angeles (February 26). Audrey MiKa will open on all dates.

The premiere of 'The Voice 17' (1.7 rating in 18-49, 8.8 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) jumps +55% versus last spring's finale in 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.1 from 9-11 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21) and is up +19% in total viewers (8.836 million vs. 7.430 million). The show scores it's highest Monday rating since March 18 in 18-49 (1.7) and biggest overall Monday viewership since March 25 (9.004 million). It beat 'Dancing With the Stars' head to head by +113% in 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.1) and by +2.2 million persons in total viewers (8.836 million vs. 6.626 million). The year-ago 'Voice' premiere averaged a 2.0 in 18-49 and 9.668 million viewers overall on Sept. 24, 2018.
