HYTE, Berlin's globally renowned underground dance crew, is heading back to its spiritual homeland of Amsterdam Dance Event for one very special night on Friday, October 19, 2018. This annual happening is always a real showcase of HYTE's core essentials. This outstanding music event will feature house and techno's finest talents playing on three stages. The first announcement includes Loco Dice, Chris Liebing, Guti live, wAFF, Andrea Oliva, Adam Shelton b2b Subb-an, Benny Rodrigues, Samuel Deep and Mandana. #MORE headliners and hot up-and-coming artists will be announced soon. This year HYTE moves into a new venue for ADE, which is the fabulous Mediahaven. It will be turned into an electronic music lover's heaven by the quality production HYTE is so well-known for. 

Award-winning playwright Patricia Loughrey and composer Thomas Hodges announce that five-time NYMF alum Erin Leigh Peck (Motherfreakinghood, Grease! on Broadway) will step into the lead role of Margaret Evans in their original LGBTQ musical Sonata 1962.The production, which will make its Off-Broadway debut this August as part of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's Next Link Project, was originally slated to star Becca Ayers who has had to step out of the show due to booking a Broadway contract.

Interrobang Theatre Project is pleased to announce its ninth season, featuring three knockout dramas presented at its new resident home, Rivendell Theatre, 5779 N. Ridge Ave. in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. This season, Interrobang explores "identity/crisis," with three plays featuring characters on the edge of something new, battling old demons and making room for fresh starts.

America's longest running summer chamber music festival, Music Mountain, continues its 89th season with the Penderecki String Quartet presenting a stellar program to include Haydn, Grieg, and Shostakovich on Sunday, July 22 (3pm). For fourteen seasons, Hawaii Performing Arts Festival (HPAF) has continued to bring world-class music to Hawaii Island and this season is no exception. The festival, which was founded in 2005, has established an international reputation as a premiere training and performance program for aspiring young artists worldwide. Each season, HPAF assembles an exceptional roster of faculty artists who provide instruction and appear in a series of free concerts for the Big Island community.

The Philadelphia Young Pianists' Academy (PYPA) will be celebrating its sixth year as an international event from August 5 through August 12, 2018. They are inaugurating a new home for the experience at the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts located at 1920 Spruce St in Philadelphia. From July 12-28, 2018, the “relentlessly inventive” (New York Magazine) new music collective Bang on a Can collaborates with MASS MoCA to present the 17th annual Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival at MASS MoCA. The festival is a musical utopia for innovative musicians and adventurous listeners in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts, dedicated entirely to the creation, study, and performance of contemporary music. Featuring public performances, recitals, and lectures, the festival features over 60 cutting-edge composers and performers from around the globe, including over 42 fellows selected from a pool of more than 250 applicants from throughout the world. This year's featured guest composer is Steve Reich. MASS MoCA, 'a mind-blowing delight,' (New York Post) is one of the largest museums of contemporary art in the country, with exhibitions spaces dedicated to James Turrell, Laurie Anderson, Sol LeWitt, Anselm Kiefer and Jenny Holzer, as well as massive gallery spaces with exhibitions by Taryn Simon, Liz Glynn, Allison Janae Hamilton, and Rachel Howard among many others.

Eelke Kleijn, one of Holland's most talented deep house exports and acclaimed producers, has released his new single 'The Calling' out now via his DAYS like NIGHTS imprint as well as announcing a slew of dates for the 2018 summer. Free For All, one of the capital's cherished annual traditions, will return this summer to Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC), offering two weeks of free performances of the Company's 2016 production of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. Presented in partnership with local community organizations, Carnegie Hall Citywide showcases outstanding mainstage artists and rising stars across a wide variety of genres, tapping into the pulse of the city and bringing people together to share in the joy of music. Kaeja d'Dance proudly presents the beloved award-winning 7th annual PORCH VIEW DANCES (PVD), a unique and family friendly on-site production that showcases real people dancing in real spaces. This year, PVD is all about inclusivity, and will have a strong focus on diversity in dance creation and performance, with individuals from all backgrounds, ages, and featuring participants with multi-abilities. The Launch of PVD 2018 sets in motion a more accessible and inclusive event for both participants and audience members, that will pave the way for Kaeja's future events. The performance runs from July 18 to July 22, 2018, in Seaton Village, part of the Annex of Toronto.
