ZACH Theatre, Central Texas' premier professional theatre, announces six Mainstage productions along with the Family Series and holiday add-ons as part of the 2019-20 season. The Mainstage Season includes: Steven Dietz's new work Dracula: Mina's Quest, a 21st century look at the Bram Stoker classic; A Night with Janis Joplin returns celebrating the legendary rock goddess;  Every Brilliant Thing, Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe's touching and charming play; the timely and probing new work Roe by Lisa Loomer; the new immersive musical Reunion '85; and the quintessential family musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein's, The Sound of Music.

Saints and Sinners, an annual LGBTQ literary conference, will run concurrently with the The Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival, March 29-31, 2019. 

The Actors' Gang Theater presents an exhibition featuring the artworks of Ralph Steadman and Dario Fo, to accompany the run of ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST, which will open this Saturday, February 2nd and will continue until March 9th. Written by Italian playwright and Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo, translated by Jon Laskin and Michael Aquilante and directed by Will Thomas McFadden, the play began its run on Thursday, January 24th.

Due to audience demand, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces that the five-time Tony Award winner The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has now been extended through March 24 in FST's Gompertz Theatre. Called "Remarkable" and "Ingenious" by The Guardian, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time follows Christopher Boone, a brilliant teenager who sees the world in ways that most of us can only imagine. Florida Studio Theatre (FST) opens its 45th Winter Mainstage Season with the four-time Tony Award-winning musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. Called "A true tour de force" by The New York Times, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder follows Monty Navarro, a lowly born Englishman who suddenly discovers he is eighth in succession to become the Earl of Highurst, and is determined to gain the title…by any means necessary. This critically-acclaimed, knock 'em dead musical, with Book and Lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and Music and Lyrics by Steven Lutvak, will run starting November 7 in FST's Gompertz Theatre.

On Tuesday 11 December the stage-to-film adaptation, reimagined especially for cinema, will be released in 444 cinemas across the UK and Ireland by leading event cinema distributors CinemaLive.

The traditional Christmas staple of Charles Dickens' much loved A Christmas Carol, returns this festive season to the West End stage starring Simon Callow, running at the Arts Theatre for a strictly limited season from 8 December to 12 January.

Prepare for an illuminating journey when The Psychedelic Film and Music Festival holds its inaugural event featuring a lineup of science fiction, horror, fantasy, surrealist and virtual reality films, music and stage performances and panel discussions set to explore the altered states of consciousness and truth behind the vibrant and enduring psychedelic culture. The week-long gathering will feature musical performances by Simon Boswell with The AND, Psychic Ills, Heaven, Michael Tapper, Roosevelt Island and Nosh alongside appearances by researchers Dr. Dennis McKenna, Robert Barnhart and other special guests notable for breakthroughs in the psychedelic community. Premiering at venues in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens, the festival will run October 1-7, 2018.

Marlyn Mason and filmmaker Lorraine Portman will be in attendance at The Rhode Island International Film Festival. Their short film FALLING SOUTH plays Wednesday evening August 8that 6:00 pm with award winning documentary film INGRID and another short film starring Marlyn Mason, AN AFFAIR REMAINS. RIFF represents the New England premiere for FALLING SOUTH and the world premiere for AN AFFAIR REMAINS.

Cornelia Murr is sharing an advance stream of her debut album Lake Tear of the Clouds ahead of its release this Friday, July 13. The Talkhouse premiered the stream today alongside an essay by the acclaimed electronic musician Julianna Barwick, who shared how Murr's songs sent her into a meditation about destiny and the mystery of our cosmic connections with the world.

That is the mystery psychiatrist Martin Dysart must unravel in order to help his disturbed young patient in Peter Shaffer's Tony Award-winning Equus . The psychological thriller opens at Palm Beach Dramaworks on May 18 and continues through June 3, with specially priced previews on May 16 and 17.

According to Variety, key member of Fleetwood Mac Lindsey Buckingham has left the group. She has been with the band from 1975 to 1987, took a hiatus for the following ten years, and then rejoined in 1997. Read about her departure from the band from Variety here!

Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) Artistic Director Bill Rauch announced the Festival's 2019 playbill today. The season, which will be Rauch's last at the artistic helm, celebrates Shakespeare, classics and new plays, including two American Revolutions commissions and a pilot Community Visit Project that will take a bilingual Play on! translation into community venues throughout the region.
