As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, Patricia Elliott, who won a Tony Award for her Broadway debut in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, has passed away. Her niece, Sally Fay, said Elliott died of cancer on Sunday, December 20 at her home in Manhattan. She was 77.

The fifth show in Cortland Repertory Theatre's 41st summer season comes to the Little York Pavilion by way of Canada, with the award-winning comedic drama "The Drawer Boy" written by Michael Healey. First produced in Toronto in 1999, the play has gone on to be produced throughout Canada, the United States and London, winning numerous awards including The Governor's General Award and being listed on Time Magazine's list of "Top Ten New Classics". In the early 2000's, it had the distinction of being the most produced play in U.S. regional theatres; this production will mark CRT's debut performance. Written by the Oscar Award-winning Peter Shaffer, Equus opened at the National Theatre in 1973 and became a worldwide sensation, winning both the Tony and Drama Desk Awards. In 2007, a new production opened in London starring Richard Griffiths and Daniel Radcliffe (star of the Harry Potter series), becoming one of the biggest hits ever seen in the West End before moving to Broadway.
