Big Night Entertainment Group (BNEG) and Live Nation today announce the debut of luxury music hall Big Night Live in early fall 2019 at The Hub on Causeway. The Hub on Causeway is a joint venture development from Delaware North and Boston Properties that consists of more than 1.5 million square feet of mixed-use retail, office, hotel, and residential space, as well as an expansion of TD Garden.

San Francisco Opera Center Announces 2019 Adler Fellows

San Francisco Opera Center Director Sheri Greenawald today announced the 12 recipients of the 2019 Adler Fellowship. Selected from participants of the Merola Opera Program, the ten singers and two pianist/apprentice coaches begin their fellowships in January 2019. The multi-year performance-oriented residency offers advanced young artists intensive individual training, coaching and professional seminars, as well as a wide range of performance opportunities. Since its inception in 1977, the prestigious fellowship has nurtured the development of more than 180 young artists, introducing many budding stars to the international opera stage and launching active careers throughout the world as performers, production artists, arts professionals and educators.

Steppenwolf Associates Raise $23,000 At Unlocked Event

The Steppenwolf Associates, a group of highly motivated and passionate young professionals, kicked off the fall season hosting a theatrical evening, "Unlocked: From the Page to The Stage," on Saturday, October 27, 2018. The sold-out event sponsored by Ice Miller and Winston & Strawn LLP, was attended by 120 young professionals and raised more than $23,000 for Steppenwolf Education. Guests attending the event enjoyed food and beverages donated by Adobo Grill, BLVD, Candid Wines, CH Distillery, Hopewell Brewing Company and Vinci. To end the evening, guests attended a performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time followed by an after party at Front Bar.

Israeli-American cellist Amit Peled announces the release of his latest album, Bach Suites Volume 1, on February 1, 2019on CTM Classics. Recorded on the superb 1733 Goffriller cello formerly owned by Pablo Casals, the album features the first three suites and marks the first time that Bach's Suites have been recorded on the instrument since Casals' own path-breaking venture in 1936.

Cleveland Play House Awarded AAEDD Grant For CARE Program

Cleveland Play House (CPH) has been awarded a grant through the Assistance for Arts Education Development and Dissemination Grants Program (AAEDD), which will provide $2 million to continue and expand Compassionate Arts Remaking Education (CARE) over the next four years.  CPH, in partnership with the Cleveland Municipal School District, will add an additional six teachers, and expand to a total of 10 schools and reach over 4,100 students with CARE.

Producer Mark Cortale is kicking-off the seventh season of his celebrated Broadway @ NOCCA concert series on November 1 with internationally renowned opera star Marisol Montalvo, bringing her acclaimed new show Mad Scene for its New Orleans debut. The show was written and directed by Jeffery Roberson (aka Varla Jean Merman) and features William Hobbs at the piano. The series will continue with two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole on December 15, Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller on January 31, and Tony nominee & star of TV's Supergirl and Smash, Jeremy Jordan on March 29 - with each joined by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky as music director and host.

Steppenwolf for Young Adults (SYA) announced full casting for its upcoming production of We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as South West Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915 by Jackie Sibblies Drury, co-directed by Hallie Gordon and Gabrielle Randle. It's the second of SYA's 2018-19 two-play season which asks, "When You Feel Lost, How Do You Find Your Way?"
