Sometimes it seems there is so much theater happening that it's difficult to keep track of it all. From personal experience, despite all the datebooks, smart phones, tablets, desktop computers and laptops...it's hard to keep everything straight in this wacky business of the show.

Target Margin Theater to Present Reimagining of THE ICEMAN COMETH at HERE

Target Margin Theater presents The ICEMAN Lab, a radical new reimaging of The Iceman Cometh, with four diverse theater artists each tackling a separate act of the play. This fresh take on O'Neill's classic will give audiences the opportunity to see each act as a separate experiment or all together in a single sitting. The four acts of The ICEMAN Lab will play a varied schedule at the HERE Arts Center (145 6th Avenue) from June 2 through June 25, with special marathon performances on June 11 and June 18.

Although it has been revived in New York three times - twice on Broadway and once Off-Broadway - and is frequently produced by community and school groups, ANYTHING GOES has not been seen in its original form since it closed on Broadway in 1935.  The original 1934 version of ANYTHING GOES will set sail at Lyric Stage June 17-26, 2016 in the Irving Arts Center's Carpenter Performance Hall.  Tickets are available online @ www.lyricstage.org or by calling 972-252-2787.

?Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the Chicago premiere of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath (Beautiful) for the 1994 film, will go on sale on Friday, February 19.  The staged production of this worldwide smash-hit film will play the newly named The PrivateBank Theatre (18 W. Monroe) April 19 through May 1, 2016.

ELTC to Host MR. LINCOLN Student Matinee, 5/11

On Wednesday, May 11, there will be a 2:00 p.m. matinee of "Mr. Lincoln," primarily scheduled for school groups. This one-person play about the 16th President had such a successful run for the Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company last summer, that the company is bringing it back for a full two-week run before taking the show to Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
