Two emerging female directors and University of the Arts alumni will lead a new generation of undergrads in October productions produced by the Ira Brind School of Theater Arts. Award-winning director Jackson Gay will direct Caryl Churchill's Top Girls (Oct. 6 - 9). Megan Nicole O'Brien, a Barrymore nominated director and co-founder of Philadelphia's 11th Hour Theatre Company, will direct the Philadelphia premiere of the musical High Fidelity (Oct. 14 - 16 & 20 - 22).

New York City Ballet's 2011 winter repertory performances will begin on Tuesday, January 18, kicking off with an all-Balanchine program consisting of Walpurgisnacht Ballet, Duo Concertant, Valse-Fantaisie and The Four Temperaments, and will continue for six weeks, through Sunday, February 27, with performances of more than 27 different ballets from NYCB's unparalleled repertory. All performances will take place at the Company's home, the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

With the 2011 season, the Cosmopolitan Cabaret will be shifting its Wednesday and Thursday night curtain times to an audience friendly 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $33 for Wednesday or Thursday evenings or Thursday matinee and $38 for Friday and Saturday evenings or Saturday and Sunday matinees. (Premium first tier table seating is $5 extra).

DOG RUN REP is presenting the world premiere of The Man Who Ate Michael Rockefeller, a new play by Jeff Cohen based on the short story by Christopher Stokes, directed by Alfred Preisser. In 1961, Michael Rockefeller, 23 years old, disappeared among the Asmat People of Papua, New Guinea. He was never heard from again. This is the story of what might have happened, told by the Asmat people. The Man Who Ate Michael Rockefeller will play a four-week limited engagement at the West End Theatre, The Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew, 263 West 86th Street @ West End Avenue. All tickets are $18. Performances begin Friday, September 10 and continue through Sunday, October 3. Opening Night is Sunday, September 12 at 7 pm. Please note the following performance schedule:
