Three-show season subscription packages for the full Cosmopolitan Cabaret 2011 season are available now, and single tickets for "A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING" will be available December 11, at the Wells Fargo Pavilion Box Office at 1419 H Street, by calling (916) 557-1999, or online at Tickets.com. With the 2011 season, the Cosmopolitan Cabaret will be shifting its Wednesday and Thursday night curtain times to an audience friendly 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $33 for Wednesday or Thursday evenings or Thursday matinee and $38 for Friday and Saturday evenings or Saturday and Sunday matinees. (Premium first tier table seating is $5 extra).

Rodgers and Hammerstein's "A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING" opens the 2011 Cosmopolitan Cabaret season January 28-May 8, with preview performances January 26 and 27. All 11 of Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical collaborations are represented in this 1993 Broadway musical review which received a Tony Award nomination for best musical. The review, with a cast of three women and two men, showcases the timeless and universal nature of Broadway's best known and most beloved songwriting team. The cast of women include Jill Van Velzer, Lisa Ferris and the familiar Melissa WolfKlain, who can currently be seen playing Cindy at the Cosmopolitan Cabaret in "SUDS". The cast of men include Ryan Drummond and Justin Michael Duval.

"A Grand Night for Singing" will be directed Mindy Cooper, whose Broadway credits include choreographing "Dracula: the Musical" and "Wrong Mountain."

The season is produced under the direction of Executive Producer Richard Lewis, Artistic Director Glenn Casale and Associate Producer Marlene Shire-Anderson.
