New York City Ballet's 2013-14 Season at Lincoln Center will feature performances of 50 ballets in celebration of New York City Ballet's 50th anniversary at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, which has been the Company's home since the New York State Theater (now the David H. Koch Theater) opened in April of 1964.

A May Sky Picture has announced the workshop production of Schuyler Iona Press' WHAT I'M FAILING TO LEARN, choreography by Joel Hanna, music arranged by Jeb Patton, co-directed by Darren Press, written and directed by C. Fraser Press. WHAT I'M FAILING TO LEARN will play a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's 13th Street Rep (50 West 13th Street, NYC). Performances begin Wednesday, May 15 and continue through Saturday, June 15. Opening Night is Wednesday, May 29 (7 p.m.).

The Akron Civic Theatre will present Verb Ballets', Honoring Poll, tonight, March 8, 2013, at 8pm with intimate cabaret seating on stage at the historic theatre. The program will highlight the late choreographer Heinz Poll and his legacy through works created for the Ohio Ballet and features a new work by former Ohio Ballet dancer and ballet master, Richard Dickinson (Ohio Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Boston Ballet).

Two emerging female directors and University of the Arts alumni will lead a new generation of undergrads in October productions produced by the Ira Brind School of Theater Arts. Award-winning director Jackson Gay will direct Caryl Churchill's Top Girls (Oct. 6 - 9). Megan Nicole O'Brien, a Barrymore nominated director and co-founder of Philadelphia's 11th Hour Theatre Company, will direct the Philadelphia premiere of the musical High Fidelity (Oct. 14 - 16 & 20 - 22).
