The full cast of Sydney & The Old Girl has been confirmed, as previously announced Miriam Margolyes and Mark Hadfield will be joined by Vivien Parry for Eugene O'Hare's world premiere black comedy. Directed by Phillip Breen, the production will open on 31 October, with a national press night on Tuesday 5 November at 7pm.

Pinegrove¬†have revealed plans for their new album,¬†Marigold, to be released on¬†Rough Trade¬†Records on¬†January 17th, 2020. The announcement comes with a video for the second track to be released from the album, ‚ÄúPhase‚ÄĚ,¬†directed by Colin Read. The band quietly released the album's first single,¬†‚ÄúMoment‚ÄĚ, in August and¬†Marigold¬†has been eagerly awaited by the band's dedicated and rapidly expanding fanbase for months. Details of its release come just days after Pinegrove wrapped a coast-to-coast tour of North America - performing to sold out theaters in front of their largest audiences to date. Today's announcement includes details of an extensive US and European tour for early 2020 (All dates below). Initial pre-orders of¬†Marigold¬†will come with a presale code for the 2020 dates.

Post-world-war-two America somehow managed to erase what 1920s women had fought so hard to create, and what the war effort at home had literally proved, that women could just as easily do a man's job. During the war, women were working in factories, becoming mechanics, if it was a 'man's job' women were out there doing it while the men fought the war. When the men came home, somehow women said hurrah! and happily became housewives and mothers. 'Whew! So glad to be back where I belong!' every magazine, billboard, and family-centric television show seemed to say, characterizing women as happy homemakers whose identity was determined by her biology aka her ability to keep a man happy in bed while producing babies, and all of the domesticity that implies.
