The recording is inspired by America's cultural awakening at the end of the First World War one hundred years ago and the distinctly American musical styles that reflect the country's diversity. This album celebrates and reimagines popular songs of this era that remain fresh and relevant today with acclaimed musical collaborators including Rhiannon Giddens, Steep Canyon Rangers and Pokey LaFarge. The 95th Cincinnati Pops album was recorded live at Cincinnati Music Hall November 10- 12, 2017, and is being released on the Orchestra's label, Fanfare Cincinnati.

The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center of Palo Alto presents a sensational line-up for its 2018-2019 Arts & Dialogues series, featuring appearances by internationally acclaimed actors and musicians, in addition to world-class theatre and literature events. The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and Joe's Pub at The Public join forces once again for the Kimmel Center Theater Residency. The most recent revitalization of Sunday in the Park with George, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Annaleigh Ashford, opens this Thursday, February 23, at the Hudson Theatre. The beloved Stephen Sondheim musical made its Broadway debut May 2, 1984 at the Booth Theatre, where it ran for 604 performances. The original production starred Mandy Patinkin as George and Bernadette Peters as Dot/Marie. Although it did not win Best Musical at the Tony's, it did take home the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1985.

She's dominated THE ACADEMY AWARDS since the early 1980s, earning a whopping 20 Oscar nominations for roles as varied as the colors of the rainbow. Daryl Roth, Elizabeth Ireland McCann and Cody Lassen, the producers of Indecent -- the newest work by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel (HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE) -- have announced that the entire original Off-Broadway ensemble will travel to Broadway when the production begins previews at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues), on April 4, prior to its official opening night on April 18.
