MARENA PEREZ, principal dancer of the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico, DANIEL RAMIREZ, principal soloist of the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico, and CRISTIAN LAVERDE KÖNIG, former principal dancer of the Milwaukee Ballet, will appear as guest artists in Ballet Arts' production of The Nutcracker on December 11, 12 & 13, 2015 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee.

The 15th anniversary season of The Classical Theatre of Harlem (CTH) (Ty Jones, Producing Artistic Director; David Roberts, Managing Director) continues with CTH's free, summer, uptown production of William Shakespeare's The Tempest, presented in partnership with City Parks Foundation's SummerStage festival. The Carl Cofield-directed production, which stars New York theater and Broadway veteran Ron Cephas Jones, will transform the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park into an enchanted Caribbean island where the magic takes flight, with an elaborate aerial design elements planned. The third annual CTH Under the Stars presentation holds previews tonight, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. Performances, which are free and open to the public, run from July 5 through 26.

Enjoy Shakespeare under the stars at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Outdoor Stage production of Love's Labour's Lost. The Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, New York Live Arts' Resident Dance Company, today announced the launch of a new partnership with Loyola Marymount University (LMU). The partnership with the Los Angeles based university marks the first of its kind, adding to the Company's existing collegiate education programs. Peugh. Colossal begins with previews tonight, April 2 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through Sunday, May 3.

Wells of Life, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing fresh drinking water to children and families in Uganda, announced that its first-ever water well to honor the victims of September 11, 2001 is now fully operational and providing fresh drinking water to communities in need.
