Jackalope's 9th season kicks off with the U.S. premiere of Octagon, written by Kristiana Rae Colon, directed by Tara Branham, with the full cast and production team announced below.

After two successful years of operation at the intimate 63-seat Old Fitz Theatre, welcoming more than 32,000 people to 65 different shows, Red Line Productions have planned an even bigger season for 2017. Becoming known as a space which sees actors and creatives making brave and exciting choices and creating high-quality theatre, Red Line Productions has programmed ten main stage plays that will require more fearlessness and honesty from artists and audiences.

New York, New York: National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is thrilled to announce the first round of casting for the 28th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which takes place on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28, 2016 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). The Festival will kick off on Wednesday, October 26 with its celebrated concert, The 46th Minute, which features songs from Festival shows you will not get to hear in the 45-minute presentation.

This monologue from the enigmatic Scottish performer tells the story of one boy's grandad who won a fortune betting on the 1966 football World Cup and, when diagnosed with cancer, gambled it all on living to see the year 2000. The performance, a story of what we live for and what we leave behind, was a sell-out success at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015 delighting audiences of all generations with this extraordinary tale. The show has since enjoyed sell-out runs at the Adelaide Fringe in Australia and the prestigious Spoleto Festival in Charleston, USA. Following this UK tour, Gary will perform the show in New York in 2017.

This critically-acclaimed new play is the latest drama by Mike Poulton (Tony nominated for his Broadway versions of Fortune's Fool, Wolf Hall, and Bring up The Bodies).

Casting has been announced for THE AMERICAN WIFE, a new thriller coming to Park Theatre from 7 September - 1 October. Looking at the real human cost behind the war on terror and myriads of misinformation, the full cast includes: Julia Eringer, Vidal Sancho, George Taylor, Emilio Doorgasingh, Mitchell Mullen, Anne Wittman, Sanee Raval, Sophie Angelson, Lucia Henry Peragine and Sascha Petrou. "Leave your troubles outside…" as Cabaret take the stage in its Cape Playhouse premiere, directed by Hunter Foster. With book by Joe Masteroff based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb, it runs August 9 - 20.  Press night is set for Tuesday, August 9 at 7:30 pm.
