The Ocean State Summer Pops Orchestra, one of Rhode Island's cultural gems, will for the first time, present a concert at the Ocean State Theatre Company's state-of-the-art facility located at 1245 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick tonight, August 15 at 7:00 pm. The award-winning Vermont-based Bread & Puppet Theater takes its annual Labor Day weekend 'little big tour' down to the Boston area, this year bringing their new The Overtakelessness Circus to be presented outdoors on Sunday, September 6th, in Cambridge at Magazine Beach Park and on Monday, September 7th, in Lawrence at the 31st Annual Bread & Roses Heritage Festival.

The theatre company's momentous production of Always... Patsy Cline will play five performances per week Thursday through Sunday, following a brief two week hiatus. Always... Patsy Cline was originally produced by STAGES during its record-breaking 27th Season, which resulted in two added performances and historic attendance. Nightly, the audiences stopped the show with thunderous applause for numbers like 'Crazy,' 'Lovesick Blues,' and 'Your Cheating Heart.'

The 'Alley Theatre @ UH' season begins with Betty Buckley, Hallie Foote, Annalee Jefferies and Veanne Cox in award-winning Texas playwright Horton Foote's The Old Friends, a Southwestern premiere.
