Kiran Bhargava who is seen in the TV show Kumkum Bhagya will now act on stage with coveted actor Ravi Jhankal and Gautam Rode as Aarohi. The play is based on the life of a Kathak dancer and Kiran was a perfect fit as she a Kathak dancer trained under great Kathak maestro - Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj since 1976.

San Diego Repertory Theatre announced today the cast and creative team for the third production in their 43rd season, Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2. Directing this production is San Diego REP Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse. Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2 debuted on Broadway in 2017 where it received eight Tony Award nominations. Performances run November 21 - December 16, 2018, at the Lyceum Stage Theatre. Tickets start at $25 and are currently on sale to the general public. Previews run November 21 - 27, 2018. Press opening is Wednesday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m.

The Park Theatre will kick-off its 2018 Summer Festival with 3 free screenings of Hugh Jackman in the gala musical, The Greatest Showman on Thursday, July 19. The story of the famous circus producer P.T. Barnum will have 3 screenings (1p, 3p and 7p) and take place at the Jaffrey Woman's Club at 33 Main Street in downtown Jaffrey. The movie is being presented as part of the Jaffrey Civic Center's Night of 1,000 Cupcakes festivities.

Today, Goodman Theatre announces the Summer 2018 return of Jim McGrath's Pamplona starring stage and screen veteran Stacy Keach as Ernest Hemingway, directed by Artistic Director Robert Falls. Originally scheduled for Spring 2017, Pamplona appeared for 11 preview performances but closed prematurely after its star suddenly fell ill on Opening Night and doctors ordered recuperation.
