The Lyric Hammersmith today announces full casting for Simon Stephens's new version of Anton Chekhov's highly renowned play, The Seagull, directed by Artistic Director Sean Holmes.

Completing The Shakespeare Canon At Commonwealth Theatre Center

Mark Rylance, three-time Tony Award winner (Jerusalem, Boeing-Boeing, Twelfth Night) and Academy Award-winner (Bridge of Spies), will return to Broadway in the critically acclaimed Shakespeare's Globe production of FARINELLI AND THE KING, a new play with music by author and composer Claire van Kampen, it was announced today by producers Sonia Friedman, Shakespeare's Globe and Paula Marie Black.

Pericles marks the 24th Shakespearean production for the Porters on their quest to completing the canon. Artistic Director Charles Pasternak returns to the directing chair and Leon Russom to the boards. They last worked together on 2014's production of Henry V, a critical and audience hit, which received Ovation, BroadwayWorld, and Valley Theatre Award nominations.
