The producers of Broadway's longest running comedy, The Play That Goes Wrong, announced today that the Tony Award-winning production will close on Sunday, August 26, 2018 prior to the launch of the National Tour opening in Pittsburgh, PA in September. Additional tour cities, dates, and casting will be announced at a later date.

Full casting has been announced for the sensational feel-good musical MAMMA MIA! which comes to Palace Theatre, Manchester from 3rd - 14th July 2018 as part of its international tour. Shona White (Donna Sheridan), Nicky Swift (Rosie), Helen Anker (Tanya), Tamlyn Henderson (Sam Carmichael), Daniel Crowder (Harry Bright), Matthew Rutherford (Bill Austin), Lucy May Barker (Sophie Sheridan), Phillip Ryan (Sky), Leisha Mollyneaux (Ali), Lottie Henshall (Lisa), Matt Jordan-Pidgeon (Pepper) and Michael Nelson (Eddie) will star in the production. At certain performances the role of Donna Sheridan will be played by Natalie Langston.

The Overture Center for the Arts welcomes ON YOUR FEET! to Madison for the Wisconsin Premiere of the hit Broadway musical May 15-20th. This crowd-pleasing musical with its Latin beat and joyful score is based on the life and music of the multi Grammy winning icons Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio Estefan.

Broadway Sacramento announced the 2018 - 19 Broadway On Tour season at the Community Center Theater, sponsored by Wells Fargo, featuring four shows not previously presented in the series and three that are favorites of Broadway Sacramento audiences. Broadway's hottest talents will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of the Stevie Wonder, accompanied by a 7-piece jazz band playing original orchestrations of his music in Broadway Sings Stevie Wonder at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Monday, May 14 at 7pm, part of the Ridgefield Magazine Broadway & Cabaret Series and partially underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon & Spa

Broadway favorites Ben Fankhauser, Paige Faure, Corey Mach, and Sydney Morton are among the artists headed to the Ridgefield Playhouse on May 14 to sing completely new arrangements of the hits of the Stevie Wonder, accompanied by a 7-piece jazz band playing original orchestrations of his music. The concert will give tribute to this soul icon, putting new twists on his legendary songs including "Superstition", "Sir Duke", For Once In My Life", and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered". The music will be orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC)made its spring announcement of 18 new shows added to the 2018-2019 season, continuing to showcase chart topping musicians, compelling dance companies, groundbreaking storytellers and authors and a wide range of holiday performances, all appealing to diverse audiences. Starting next month, Book-It Repertory Theatre is hosting Literature to Life/Young Audiences of New York to present a stage adaptation of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. This 2008 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel written by Junot Diaz was adapted and directed for the stage byElise Thoron and will be performed by Elvis Nolasco ("American Crime", "She's Gotta Have It"). This collaboration across the coasts is the first time Book-It has hosted another company in its 28-year history.

Ahead of its second birthday in the West End this spring, the critically acclaimed and Olivier Award-nominated The Comedy About A Bank Robbery announces a new company. After a year of good behaviour at the Criterion the second company have been released on parole, with a new band of inmates starting performances from 27 February. Due to demand, The New Group has announced a three-week extension for Jerry Springer - The Opera, with Matt McGrath appearing as Jerry Springer beginning March 13.  Terrence Mann, currently appearing in the role of Jerry Springer, plays his final performance March 11 due to an existing commitment beyond that date.
