After more than two decades and 20 million albums sold globally, Counting Crows will celebrate 25 years of making music by hitting the road for a worldwide '25 YEARS AND COUNTING' tour, starting with a 40+ city trek across North America this summer. Presented by Live Nation, the tour will begin June 27 in Boise, ID and travel across cities such as San Diego, Las Vegas, Denver, Atlanta, Tampa, New York, Boston, Toronto and Chicago before concluding September 22 in Nashville, TN. Joining the tour is multi-platinum band +LIVE+.

On Monday and Tuesday, April 16 and 17, beginning at 6:00 pm, DreamWrights Center for Community Arts will hold auditions for Into the Woods.  In this timeless, beloved musical, the Baker and his wife, Jack, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, the Witch, and many other fairy tale characters come to life.  Their adventures take them into the woods and on journeys they never imagined possible.

Based on the Newbery Award-winning novel by Katherine Paterson, best friends Leslie and Jesse create their own imaginary kingdom in the woods to escape the realities of home and school. Bridge to Terabithia is a poignant story of imagination, friendship, love and loss that builds a connection to the meaning of resilience.

On this day in 2013, the new American musical Hands on a Hardbody opened at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

The internationally renowned Lar Lubovitch Dance Company celebrates its 50th anniversary this spring with two programs at The Joyce Theater featuring the world premiere of Lar Lubovitch's Something About Night as well as signature works from the Company's vast repertory. The Company will be joined by the Martha Graham Dance Company and principals from The Joffrey Ballet, each performing seminal Lubovitch dances in honor of this milestone year.
