The internationally acclaimed American pianist Ursula Oppens will participate in Kaufman Music Center's marathon concert series The Pianists United: Rzewski in New York, on Saturday afternoon, May 6, 2023, at Merkin Concert Hall, at 3:00 p.m. EDT.

If a musical comedy could be served up as comfort food, that show would look a lot like “Annie.”  Audiences have been lapping up the sweet story of Little Orphan Annie since it opened on Broadway in 1977.

This season the new musical New York, New York is bringing the hopes and dreams of young artists to the Broadway stage in a new musical from iconic duo John Kander and Fred Ebb. In April 2023, the Czech Republic's Ostrava Center for New Music will present two concerts by Ostravská banda in New York City with a program of music by Czech and American composers: on April 20 at the Buchwald Theater at Brooklyn College (part of the new Leonard & Claire Tow Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College) and on April 21 at Bohemian National Hall in Manhattan.
