 The Huntington has announced the world premiere of Our Daughters, Like Pillars, written by Obie Award-winning playwright and Huntington Playwriting Fellow Kirsten Greenidge (Luck of the Irish, Milk Like Sugar at The Huntington).

Baryshnikov Arts Center will present the New York premiere of Minneapolis-based choreographer and dancer Ashwini Ramaswamy’s Let the Crows Come, an experimental Bharatanatyam work, and a “Best of Dance 2021” selection by The Washington Post. Performances will take place Wednesday–Friday, April 13–15, at 8pm, at BAC’s Jerome Robbins Theater, 450 West 37th Street, in Manhattan.

On Sunday, March 6th the award winning production of Naked Boys Singing!, playing at Las Vegas’s Erotic Heritage Museum, will say goodbye to three of its original cast members while celebrating the show’s 100th performance! Straight from its record breaking 20 year off-Broadway run, the Las Vegas production was initially conceived as a 12 week residency. However, the all-male, all-nude musical revue went on to win the BroadwayWorld.com award for Best Las Vegas Musical, and due to overwhelming demand, extended several times before becoming an open ended run.  

The concert features mezzo-soprano Lucia Bradford, soprano Kearstin Piper Brown, and baritone Jorell Williams, together with pianists Nathaniel LaNasa and Steven Blier, in works by Black composers that include H. Leslie Adams, Margaret Bonds, Harry Burleigh, Adolphus C. Hailstork, Robert Owens, Hale Smith, and William Grant Still..
