A/C Theatre Company's staging of Andrew Lippa's THE WILD PARTY, is a wildly engaging tribute to the roar of another decade and its edgy underbelly. Featuring Alanna Kalbfleisch in a defining role, the show runs through September 23rd at Phoenix Theatre's Hardes Theatre.

Following a sold-out performance in 2017, The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Concert returns to Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, for a three-night engagement on Friday, October 26th; Wednesday, October 31; and Thursday, December 13, 2018. Heath Saunders (Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812, Jesus Christ Superstar Live) and Natalie Walker (Puffs: Or, Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic), will reprise their roles as Jack and Sally, joined by Ashley C. Ford (112BK) as The Narrator, with additional casting to be announced.

With book, music and lyrics by former Oak Park resident Andrew Lippa, The Wild Party is set in the Roaring Twenties, a time of explosive social and cultural upheaval. It's the Jazz Age, Prohibition is in full swing and postwar America is booming, with a seemingly insatiable appetite for new fashions, fads and excitement. Amidst this backdrop, vaudeville stars Queenie and her lover, Burrs, live a desultory, decadent life.

Award-winning playwright Patricia Loughrey and composer Thomas Hodges announce that five-time NYMF alum Erin Leigh Peck (Motherfreakinghood, Grease! on Broadway) will step into the lead role of Margaret Evans in their original LGBTQ musical Sonata 1962.The production, which will make its Off-Broadway debut this August as part of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's Next Link Project, was originally slated to star Becca Ayers who has had to step out of the show due to booking a Broadway contract.

SFGMC's Dr. Tim Seelig Guest Conducts the Mormon Tabernacle Choir

Last night in front of approximately 2,400 concertgoers, Dr. Tim Seelig, Artistic Director of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC), served as guest conductor at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square concert at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Seelig stepped onto the conductor's podium to lead the Choir and Orchestra in the encore number, "This Land Is Your Land." The Choir traditionally invites a guest conductor who is well known to the community-from musicians and government officials to religious leaders and celebrities-at each of its concert stops.

New York Classical Theatre's ROMEO AND JULIET Moves To Rockefeller Park/Battery Park City For 'Take A Seat' Week

After a successful run in Central Park, playing to over 4,000 people, performances resume on Wednesday, June 27 in Rockefeller Park/Battery Park City for New York Classical Theatre's critically acclaimed production of Romeo and Juliet, directed by the company's Founding Artistic Director Stephen Burdman. The production will play this week through June 30, before continuing on to The Battery, Carl Schurz Park, and Brooklyn Bridge Park for performances through July 29. There is no ticketing, and all performances are free and open to the public. Performance schedule can be found at newyorkclassical.org.

New York Classical Theatre Celebrates 19th Anniversary with ROMEO AND JULIET

New York Classical Theatre (Stephen Burdman, Artistic Director), New York City's only all-free professional Off-Broadway theatre company, is pleased to announce a new production of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to celebrate its 19th Anniversary Season. The production, directed by Mr. Burdman, is the company's first staging of Shakespeare's tale of star-crossed lovers, and will be presented in five New York City parks - Central Park, Rockefeller Park/Battery Park City, The Battery, Carl Schurz Park and Brooklyn Bridge Park - with performances from June 5 through July 29 at 7:00 PM. There is no ticketing, and all performances are free and open to the public. New York Classical Theatre also invites audiences to experience unique behind-the-scenes access to open rehearsals on selected dates for each of the five park stagings.

Mike Faist's final performance in Dear Evan Hansen will be Sunday, May 13. Alex Boniello will join the company as Connor Murphy beginning Today, May 15. Additionally, Will Roland will play his final performance as Jared Kleinman on Sunday, June 10. It has yet to be announced who will take over as Jared.
